Corporal Thompson Park Reviews
The soccer field and the track is immaculate. The bathrooms are very clean as well . There's a decent amount of parking all around the park. They have workout stations inside the park. And this park has a basketball court too.
Feb 18, 2025 · mikeywowI took my kids to track and field lessons here. They loved running on the track and playing on the attached playground. There is also a public pool right next to it so it was great to go to after their meets. Another group played soccer while the track team was in session. Overall a great park to do sports and bring the kids. Adults ran on the track too! Everyone was courteous of sharing the space. There were even men who used a big tire on the grass to workout. Parents had plenty of space to spread out blankets and picnic.
Aug 15, 2024 · Kyoko HeshiimuBoth the football field and track are brand new, having been renovated within the past year. They're in use most afternoons and Saturdays by youth teams for practice and games. There's also adult leagues that make use of the facilities a few evenings a week. By no means does that make the track and field completely unavailable. The park has a lot more to offer too. There's a nice playground for young children. As well as a baseball field and basketball courts. It's a beautiful well maintained park. Great for a family outing and for someone looking a place to exercise.
May 20, 2024 · Edward LockwoodTrack is a synthetic rubber. It's a little different than most tracks you would find at a high school, but still, good for running and softer on your joints than the road/sidewalk.Good for running workouts but the track etiquette is very bad here. Walkers in lane one, kids riding bikes all over every lane, loose dogs, parents just hanging out in lane one while their kids have practice.
