Sep 04, 2024 · Alex KaplanDahnert's Lake County Park is an excellent place to enjoy outdoor activities with family and friends. As soon as you enter the park, you are surrounded by beautiful trees and a serene lake that provides a calming atmosphere. One of the main attractions of the park is the playground, which is perfect for children to burn off some energy while parents sit back and relax. The playground is equipped with swings, slides, and climbing structures, ensuring that kids of all ages have something to enjoy. The park has a well maintained hockey rink. It's a great place to practice your skills or join a pick up game. You can also bring your fishing gear and cast a line into the lake, which is stocked with trout.Another perk of this park is it's convenient location. The park is situated across the street from the library and dunkin donuts.
Apr 27, 2023 · Joe TaverasIt is so quiet and clean. The only problem is there are sections that get puddles of water from rain that take time to go away. Therefore having to walk in the grass and avoid geese poop.
Apr 30, 2025 · Elvira GonzalezI live down the street from this park and spend lots of time there. The fishing is so so. You tend to catch some of the smaller fish. The bigger ones are a little more crafty and elusive. I've seen some big carp swimming around so I know they're in there. I mostly go to the park for my photography, There's few different types of water fowl I've come across such as the typical canadian geese as well as mallard ducks. I've also seen great egrets and double crested cormorants. There's also a few blackbirds that live there. It's a nice place for wildlife photography as well as macro photography if you're into such things.
