DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Nanuet Reviews
The hotel is clean, and the staff is really friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, but there is some maintenance that could be done like replacing shower heads. Over all a good place to stay. It note, the breakfast is not free, and is actually fairly expensive unless you purchase it as part of your reservation.
May 28, 2025 · Don DavisI love this hotel! I’ve stay a couple of times when traveling to Nyack for ministry. The customer service is always friendly and helpful. It’s so peaceful. The rooms are great. Especially the double rooms. My daughter, her husband and my grandchildren were very comfortable with all the space they had. They accommodated me when I was returning late for checkout on Mother’s Day. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. They are near the Palisades Mall.I’m looking forward to my next stay.
May 14, 2025 · Tina BookerWhen my husband and I arrived for check-in, we were greeted with a kind reception and a classic cookie! Check-in was quick, and we were directed to the hallway for our ground floor room. The room was lovely, king-sized bed with accessible features. Flat floor tiled shower with shower bench (super-sturdy) and handheld showerhead (height adjustable). I will say that the handheld showerhead needed a longer stretch because it fell a little short for me personally, but otherwise it was acceptable. There were 3 settings, only 2 were useful. There was a mini fridge to keep drinks cold and a microwave if you had takeout or leftovers to heat up. The TV was fairly standard for whatever comes in a regular hotel room. The ac has a remote, intuitive to use for the most part. We ordered room service from the in-house restaurant, the menu is located in a QR code bedside for convenience. We ordered dinner one night and for my husband it was acceptable -- burger and fries, no salt or pepper for the fries, ample ketchup. They were shockingly crispy in a good way, I think they may have been battered. I ordered mozzarella sticks, seasoned well, came default with marinara. I ordered a flatbread margherita pizza and was sorely disappointed. I also ordered nachos with chili on the side, and they're doing something wrong there-- the cheese they used was not meant for nachos. It also didn't have much in the way of toppings (i.e. no tomato, onion, salsa) but they provided the extra jalapenos that I requested, and what seemed to be buffalo hot sauce? The food left a lot to be desired, unfortunately. The mozzarella sticks and fries were delicious, get the ranch for the mozzarella sticks you won't regret it.
Mar 19, 2025 · Sona SanghviThis is one of the worse Hilton hotel I have ever stayed in and I use Hilton everywhere I go. First of all, I was going to arriving at 8 am the next day and I would not be able to check in at 3pm of the day before. I called the hotel and asked for early check in since in was traveling far and couldn’t wait till 3 pm to check in the day I arrived. I called the hotel and they told me that early check in was not available and my options are to pay for the previous night which I was fine with. When I walked in at 8 am they try to tell me they canceled my reservation because my check in time has lapsed and I didn’t inform them. To which I showed proof of when I called and what conversation had with the customer service. The front desk then decided to check me in. Only to give me one of the oldest, dirtiest, stingiest, smallest and outdated hotel room I have ever come across. The AC or heat was loud and I could barely sleep. The monitor was broken so I couldn’t adjust it to the temperature I wanted. The carpet was DIRTY. The chair by the table was falling apart. If I could have had a refund I would have left. My kids were so uncomfortable. We spent most of our day outdoors and only came to the hotel to sleep. I booked it for 2 nights and the day for me to check out could not have come fast enough. NEVER EVER AGAIN. Stay away from this hotel.
Feb 10, 2025 · Ramatu SuadI came across this hotel after our original choice for the wedding had close. When I had called to get a space, I was defeated because of being denied from other hotels due to unavailability. When I got hold of Naji, he raised me up feeling hopeful. He was more than willing to work with all of our needs & was very professional. He understood our struggle & went above and beyond to provide excellent service. He gave my husband & I a complimentary suite, and the room was beautiful! We even used the hotel for the after party & brunch the next morning, all of the staff was wonderful to us & our guests. I would use this hotel again & recommend it to anyone traveling in the area.
