May 14, 2025 · Yulduz ZaripovaI think it’s great to add more space for families to get out and gather! Simple park with a short walking trail (about 2/10 miles).Several restaurants and an ice cream store nearby 🤗👍🏽.The children’s play area only makes up about 10% of the total area of this park. Majority of the land is a lake/swamp/wetland.
Mar 05, 2023 · Justin JoseClean playground, fenced in with soft rubber ground. Unique playground structures for kids of various ages, not all the usual things seen at most parks. Also features a separate area with basic workout machines. Short walking trail that is stroller and wheelchair friendly. We saw a large variety of birds for such a short walk (watch out for the red wing blackbirds as they can be aggressive!) There is also a little area with what appears to be a dedication to firefighters but I didn’t see any plaques or signs to explain it.Huge con is that there is zero shade at the playground and it gets very hot (including the ground and the playground equipment). We were here on a 72 degree day and couldn’t stay for any length of time because it was so sunny and hot! Other people at the park were hiding under the larger play structure to escape the heat. I hope they will add some sun shades or I can’t imagine coming back to this park until fall.
Jun 18, 2023 · Michelle ZinkI love that the playground is soft surface. Don't have to worry about wood Chips or sand getting everywhere. And parents if u want to escape the sun, there a few hidden spots within the playground to take a small break while still keeping an eye on ur little ones.
