Englewood Picnic Area Reviews
Beautiful place I love it❤️🙏
May 24, 2025 · Dagito G T (Dagito GT)Has all you need for barbecue and kid friendly time...Great place to ride the bike on rt. 9 with plenty of views! 👍
May 17, 2025 · Fort PetraccaWe went to this park for outdoor picnic and BBQ on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. We first arrived at Ross Dock picnic area around 9:45am, but all the public grills were already taken by then. We pivoted to Englewood and nabbed the last public grill remaining. It turned out that this park was much quieter and relaxing, perhaps because there are fewer children since it doesn’t have a playground like the other park. In the latter part of the afternoon the cliff casts a nice long shadow to keep everyone cool. Overall we really enjoyed grilling and picnicking here. The main downside is that there are only port-a-potty stations, and these are not the most pleasant things to use.
Jun 01, 2024 · Dong Jin ShinBeautiful place, hidden away gem of a place. We took out bikes on the trail but it’s out of season it was dead. Bikes all the way to the bottom of the bridge and further. Great day!
Aug 31, 2018 · Philip PaisnelCool place. Close to the city and urban areas yet feels like far away. Great getaway area. (Tons of room with no crowds).it's great to have these kind of "green spaces" around. (tho in this case it's more xeriscaping type.
