This incredible private residence, adorned with millions of synchronized lights, has become a cherished holiday tradition for countless families across the New York region and beyond. It’s a testament to dedication, creativity, and the spirit of giving, captivating visitors with its unparalleled visual and auditory experience.
What began as a passion project by the family behind ERDAJT has blossomed into a monumental display that draws crowds from all corners of the state. It's more than just Christmas lights; it's a meticulously choreographed show, set to music, that delights onlookers of all ages. The commitment to this dazzling display is evident in every detail, from the sheer volume of lights to the intricate programming that brings the entire scene to life. Visitors often describe it as a truly magical experience, a perfect way to embrace the festive season with loved ones.
Beyond the captivating lights, ERDAJT holds a special place in the hearts of locals due to its philanthropic spirit. While the display itself is free to enjoy, the family encourages donations, with all proceeds benefiting local charities. This generous initiative transforms a simple holiday outing into an act of community support, reinforcing the true spirit of the season. For those seeking a unique, family-friendly, and heartwarming holiday attraction in the Hudson Valley, ERDAJT stands out as an unmissable destination that brightens both the darkest winter nights and the lives of those in need.
ERDAJT is conveniently situated at 8 Patrick Drive, LaGrangeville, NY 12540, USA. This residential location in Dutchess County places it within a relatively easy drive for many residents across the New York metropolitan area and the wider Hudson Valley. LaGrangeville is a charming town known for its accessibility to major roadways, making the journey to ERDAJT straightforward for those traveling by car.
From various points in New York, navigating to Patrick Drive is typically uncomplicated, involving a mix of interstate highways and scenic local routes. While public transportation options directly to a residential address like this are generally limited, the drive itself is part of the experience, especially during the holiday season when the anticipation builds.
Upon arrival, visitors should be aware that, as a residential display, parking and traffic flow are managed to accommodate the large number of enthusiastic onlookers. While specific parking instructions may vary year to year depending on the volume of visitors and local arrangements, the experience is typically designed for a drive-through viewing, allowing guests to enjoy the spectacle from the comfort and warmth of their vehicles. This setup also enhances accessibility, making the display enjoyable for individuals with varying mobility needs. It's always a good idea to check local social media or news outlets closer to the holiday season for any specific traffic advisories or updated viewing instructions to ensure a smooth and enjoyable visit. The LaGrangeville community often works in conjunction with the family to manage the influx of visitors, ensuring a safe and pleasant experience for everyone.
While ERDAJT is not a traditional business offering commercial services, it provides a unique and impactful experience through its dedication to a grand holiday display and community support. Here are the "services" it effectively offers:

- Synchronized to Music: The lights are precisely choreographed to a selection of festive holiday tunes, enhancing the dynamic and engaging nature of the display. Visitors can typically tune their car radios to a specific FM frequency to hear the synchronized music.
- Extensive Residential Display: What makes ERDAJT particularly unique is that it's a private residential home that undertakes this monumental effort, demonstrating an extraordinary level of dedication and passion.
- Philanthropic Focus: A significant highlight is the display's commitment to charity. While free, donations are encouraged and go directly to local organizations, making it a holiday attraction with a purpose.

As a free, privately-run holiday light display with a charitable mission, ERDAJT doesn't offer traditional commercial promotions or discounts in the way a business might. Its primary "offer" is the entirely free and spectacular experience it provides to the public.
However, the core "special offer" from ERDAJT is its commitment to giving back to the community:
- Free Admission: The most significant "offer" is that there is no charge to view the dazzling light display. This ensures that everyone, regardless of financial means, can enjoy this beloved holiday tradition.
- Donations for Local Charities: While optional, the display actively encourages voluntary donations. All proceeds collected go directly to local charities, allowing visitors to contribute to worthy causes while enjoying the show. This is a continuous "promotion" of goodwill and community support.
Visitors are simply encouraged to enjoy the lights and consider making a donation if they are able. There are no coupons, loyalty programs, or seasonal sales; the value of ERDAJT lies in its captivating artistry and its profound positive impact on the local community through its charitable efforts. Any "special offers" would be communicated directly on-site or through local media channels in the weeks leading up to and during the display season, typically from Thanksgiving through the New Year.
Given that ERDAJT is a private residential light display and not a commercial lodging establishment, direct contact information such as a general business phone number or dedicated email address for inquiries might not be publicly listed in the traditional sense.
However, the primary way to "contact" or connect with the ERDAJT experience and its organizers (the family behind the display) is through its physical location and local community channels:
Address: 8 Patrick Drive, LaGrangeville, NY 12540, USA
For the most current information regarding display dates, hours of operation, charitable initiatives, and any specific viewing instructions or traffic management details for the upcoming holiday season, it is best to refer to local news outlets, community social media groups, or any dedicated online presence the family might establish closer to the holiday season. These channels often provide updates and answer common questions for visitors. While a direct phone number for public inquiries is generally not provided for a private residence, the community's support and information sharing networks effectively serve to keep the public informed about this extraordinary local tradition.
For anyone in the New York region, particularly those in Dutchess County and the broader Hudson Valley, ERDAJT is more than just a holiday light display; it's a cherished local institution that embodies the spirit of the season. Its suitability for locals stems from several key aspects that make it an essential part of the regional holiday experience.

The fact that it’s a residential effort, executed with such immense dedication and creativity, inspires admiration and pride among locals. This isn’t a corporate event; it’s a labor of love that reflects the generous spirit of the LaGrangeville community.
Moreover, its charitable focus adds a layer of profound meaning. The voluntary donations collected for local organizations transform a simple holiday outing into an act of collective goodwill. For locals, this means enjoying a beloved tradition while simultaneously supporting vital services and causes within their own community, reinforcing the true meaning of giving during the holidays. It’s a tangible way for residents to contribute directly to the well-being of their neighbors.
Lastly, ERDAJT has become an enduring holiday tradition. Many families visit year after year, building cherished memories and marking the start of their festive season. It’s a reliable source of enchantment, a consistent bright spot in the winter months. ERDAJT Reviews
Amazing light show and worth the 25-minute drive. I'm glad to see the money being collected for charity.
Dec 30, 2024 · Adam GalazkaNice display. From reviews and media I expected this long drive through of lights and music. It's short and sweet but you can go around as many times as you like and it's free. You can donate to a local organization if you'd like when you enter. The kids enjoyed it, I enjoyed it!
Dec 28, 2023 · J CurrieWe visited this attraction with my daughter. She absolutely loved it! The family that lives at the property invests dozens of hours setting everything up and they only ask for donations to help a charity. We need more people like this in the world. It's a trek into northern Dutchess County and located in a residential area. The drive through the lights is somewhat short, but on a slow night you can go as many times as you'd like. Thank you for a great experience. Happy Holidays!
Dec 21, 2023 · Fernando DaCunhaHad the pleasure of experiencing this wonderful light show with an 18 month and 4 year old whose reactions of awe and wonderment made it even more amazing. It was relatively quiet which allowed us to circle through 3x which allowed us to experience different choreography, music and lighting schemes. Small but well worth the trip!
Nov 27, 2023 · Carol Ann WellsAmazing lighting! I’ve been taking my family here for the last couple of years. My kids always look forward to this drive-through. Light and music are synced perfectly. It’s a short drive through but so worth it.
