Beyond its watery appeal, the area is renowned for its impressive "Walking Dunes," a natural wonder that adds another layer of intrigue and exploration to your visit. For locals and visitors alike, Iodine Beach presents a compelling blend of outdoor adventure and serene natural beauty, truly standing out as a gem within New York's diverse landscape.

Iodine Beach Reviews
This is quite a raw and nice beach, entirely protected from open sea. Awesome access to water in the area for all your wind fun activities. Solid and stable conditions. Easy access and launches. Friendly and supportive locals ;)Water is murkier. There are some "organic" hazards underneath, so were shoes and watch out for depth on foils. There are cool dunes just behind the, well, dunes to hike around.
Sep 29, 2022 · Jiri VorelIt's not everyday you see tall dunes in NY State but here they are. The walking dunes trail was a unique hike that looped through dunes, sandy woods, and back along the shore. The water is true to it's name and has a brownish hue not sure if it's safe to swim in.
