This ample parking makes it one of the more convenient beach destinations for car owners in the city. Public transportation is also a viable option. While specific subway lines might require a bus transfer, several MTA bus routes service the Rockaway Peninsula, connecting to major subway hubs (like the A train) that provide access from Manhattan and other parts of Brooklyn and Queens.
