As a privately owned motel, the Linden Motel does not typically advertise widespread, publicly available promotions or special offers in the same way larger hotel chains might. Their pricing and availability are often managed directly. However, based on the nature of such establishments, there are a few potential avenues for guests to inquire about or experience forms of "special offers":
Firstly, direct booking is often the best way to secure a favorable rate or inquire about any unadvertised deals. By calling the motel directly at (845) 477-0851, prospective guests might be able to discuss their specific needs and potentially secure a better rate than through online travel agencies, especially for extended stays or during off-peak seasons. The personal interaction with staff, as highlighted in reviews, suggests a willingness to accommodate guests where possible.
Secondly, for those planning longer visits, particularly hikers who may be staying for multiple nights while section-hiking, it's always worth asking if there are any discounted rates for extended stays. Motels like Linden Motel often appreciate repeat business or longer commitments and may be more inclined to offer a slight reduction.
Finally, while not a "promotion" in the traditional sense, the inclusion of full kitchenettes in many rooms can be considered a significant value-add. This feature allows guests to prepare their own meals, which can lead to substantial savings on dining expenses over the course of a stay. For budget-conscious travelers or those with specific dietary needs, this amenity effectively acts as an ongoing "special offer" by reducing overall trip costs.
It is always recommended to contact the Linden Motel directly via phone to inquire about current rates, availability, and any potential deals that might be available for your specific travel dates and duration.

For locals in and around Greenwood Lake, or those frequently visiting the area, the Linden Motel presents a uniquely suitable lodging option, particularly when considering its practical benefits and strategic location. While it may not boast the modern luxuries of a high-end hotel, its value lies in its straightforward approach to accommodation and its strong alignment with the needs of various local travelers.
Firstly, its prime location at 82 Linden Ave places it squarely within the heartbeat of Greenwood Lake. This means that if you're visiting family or friends, engaging in local activities, or simply need a temporary base while work is being done on your home, the motel offers unparalleled convenience. Being within walking distance of local cafes, restaurants, and a bank streamlines daily life, allowing locals to maintain a semblance of routine even when away from their own residence. This close proximity to essential services and dining options makes it an incredibly practical choice for short-term stays.
Secondly, the inclusion of kitchenettes in many of its rooms is a significant advantage for locals. For those needing extended stays – perhaps due to home renovations, temporary work assignments in the area, or accommodating visiting relatives – the ability to prepare meals offers both cost savings and the comfort of home-cooked food. This feature transforms a simple motel room into a more self-sufficient living space, a crucial benefit for anyone needing more than just a place to sleep.
Moreover, the motel's reputation for being in a "safe location" and having a kind, responsive owner contributes to a sense of ease and security, which is highly valued by local residents. Knowing that you’re staying in a well-regarded and secure environment, with accessible staff, can make a significant difference, especially during potentially stressful temporary living situations. The direct and personal interaction with staff, as noted by customers, allows for a more tailored and accommodating experience than might be found in larger, more impersonal lodging chains.
Finally, for locals who are outdoor enthusiasts or have visiting friends and family who are, the Linden Motel's "perfect location for the hike" makes it an excellent jumping-off point for exploring the numerous trails and natural beauty surrounding Greenwood Lake. Its practical amenities and focus on fundamental comforts mean it perfectly serves as a convenient and unpretentious base for experiencing all that the region has to offer, making it an ideal choice for the community it serves.

Linden Motel Reviews
We stayed for 2 nights while section-hiking. It was a perfect location for the hike. The place has a lot of potential, and the room we stayed in was roomy, with a kitchenette, which was nice. But the kitchen was not clean and the bathroom was filthy. Like don’t-use-the-shower filthy. We cleaned the toilet before using it. And the whole room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The sheets were clean, and we didn’t have an alternative, so we stayed. Frank was sweet - very responsive to our requests for extra pillows and the Wi-Fi password. But for other questions he kept deferring to a woman who was in charge but not available. It seemed like something was up - like maybe she’s ill or something? I hope we just hit them at a bad time and that they’ll be back to providing clean rooms soon.
Apr 29, 2024 · Amy DurkeeI wasn’t sure what to expect with so few photos of this place. I called in for a reservation and was able to have a room held for me. The room is a bit dated but it was clean, came with a full kitchen and had an amazing view of the lake. The owner is very kind and showed me all the details of the room when I checked in. It’s a safe location with a Chase bank just around the corner and many cafes and restaurants within a short walking distance. My only issue is that early in the morning during both days, there was someone talking loudly outside of my room at 4am since it’s a patio space shared by all the rooms.
Jun 30, 2023 · B CristianoIf I could write 0 stars I would. My husband and I booked the room. I spoke to these people about 3 times and my husband did twice. All they took was my husband's first name and told us to come and that we didn't have to leave a card information to reserve the room. We got there at 10 after a long drive..on a Friday night...nobody answered...for hours...nobody answered the phone and nobody answered the bell at the motel. We eventually had to take the long drive back home. It was the worst experience I have ever had and I would NEVER want to deal with these people ever again. Stranded in a new city with no-one to help. Just awful.
