Lt. Joseph Petrosino Playground Reviews
This is a nice and clean park. Not too big, but big enough for my toddler to run around in. Wasn't crowded at all when I came on a Tuesday late morning. Has 3 separate jungle gyms for different age groups. My toddler loved the 2 kiddie ones and I liked that they were safe enough for my kid to run freely without me having to worry about him falling off high steps. This is probably one of my favorite playgrounds for my toddler 1.5 yr old, and I've took him to quite a few. Has a nice sprinkler system as well for kids to play in.
Sep 19, 2023 · Lok WongBasketball and handball courts offer great and friendly competition if you can ball. A great place to exercise as the park contains practically brand new equipment such as parallel bars, a pull-up/dip station, a chest and back press machine, and an elliptical for cardio. Most of the equipment is wheelchair/rehab friendly. Google "HealthBeat Park Equipment" for details. Of course kids can burn their calories on the vast selection of playground equipment, while adults and young couple can nostalgize on the numerous swings. Of course, it wouldn't be a proper NYC day at the park without an impromptu game of chess at one of the many stone chessboards. Lots of trash cans and drinking fountains, however no bathrooms are offered, serving as a friendly reminder to register to vote!
Jan 04, 2020 · Casey PidcockA very large park and quite popular with the locals. Has no restrooms, but there are places you can eat nearby that will have them. This park is dog friendly, and children can play in the playground. There is a handball court and basketball court for the teens. There are also exercise equipment for the seniors. Around the rim of the park are benches with trees that provide shade from the sun.
