Concierge was nice and AC was good. The unit was reasonably clean but the poace was advertised and luxury and it was far from that. You can hear and smell everything from all the surrounding apartments in the unit and hallways are an assault on the senses. The location was relatively convenient but I would opt for a hotel next time. The fitness center doesn't have AC and it's very small with dated equipment. Elevators are also quite slow and occasionally out of service for repair. - Christina Luah

Oakwood at The Nash Introduce

Hey New Yorkers! Sometimes, a standard hotel room just isn't enough, especially when you're looking for more than a couple of nights, or if you're hosting guests who need a true home away from home. Whether it's for a longer work assignment, a family visiting for an extended period, or even a local looking for a temporary living solution, "extended stay hotels" or serviced apartments offer a fantastic alternative. Today, we're focusing on Oakwood at The Nash, a popular option for those seeking comfortable and convenient apartment-style living in the heart of Manhattan. This article aims to give you a clear, engaging, and factual overview of what makes Oakwood at The Nash a suitable choice for various needs, from its prime location to its practical amenities.

Oakwood at The Nash provides furnished apartments designed for stays ranging from a few nights to several weeks or even months. It operates on the concept of apartment living with hotel-like services, offering more space and amenities than a traditional hotel room. Located in the desirable Murray Hill neighborhood, it’s a part of the Oakwood brand, known globally for its corporate housing and serviced apartment solutions. This means you can generally expect a focus on functionality and comfort tailored for longer durations.

While some past guests have shared mixed experiences regarding the "luxury" aspect, particularly concerning noise and odors from surrounding apartments, and the condition of the fitness center, many others have lauded its value and practicality. Reviewers frequently highlight the friendly concierge, efficient air conditioning, and the overall cleanliness of the units. The appeal of Oakwood at The Nash lies in its offering of a fully equipped kitchen and more living space, which is a significant advantage over a typical hotel room, especially in New York City where space comes at a premium. It's often chosen by those who prioritize affordability for Manhattan and the convenience of having kitchen facilities for self-catering. The property aims to provide a comfortable base for visitors who want to experience city living without the long-term commitment of a traditional apartment lease.

The location of Oakwood at The Nash is a key factor in its appeal. Situated at 222 E 39th St, New York, NY 10016, USA, it places residents in the well-regarded Murray Hill neighborhood of Midtown East. This area is known for its residential feel, tree-lined streets, and a good mix of local eateries, bars, and conveniences, while still being incredibly close to major city attractions and business hubs.

The vibrant energy of Times Square is also within a comfortable 20-minute walk, or a very quick subway ride. Other significant landmarks like Grand Central Terminal and the Chrysler Building are also just a short stroll away, providing easy access to major transportation and architectural marvels.
