Located at 196 E Duncan Hill Road, this venerable establishment promises a cozy, authentic, and utterly captivating stay in the heart of Dutchess County.

The Old Drovers Inn stands as a testament to centuries of hospitality. Built in 1750, it originally served as a vital resting place for drovers (cattle drivers) on their arduous journeys from New England to New York City. Today, it retains every bit of its historic character, from its "uneven floors" – a charming byproduct of its age – to its "sweet and cozy" rooms. This authenticity, far from being a drawback, is celebrated by guests as a key part of its allure, offering a genuine "break from boring daily life."

Beyond its rich history, the Inn is lauded for its exceptional hospitality and culinary delights. Guests consistently praise property manager and host, Jeff, for his gracious welcome, fresh-baked cookies, and morning coffee and breakfast. The on-site restaurant is equally renowned for its "great food, great ambience and great service," promising a complete and satisfying experience.
