Oneida Run

Oneida Avenue &, Van Cortlandt Park E, Bronx, NY 10470, USA

4.0
Great park to play basketball, bring your dogs, to go on a hiking trail or to relax and have fun! Nice, clean and well kept areas. Plenty of free side street parking, and playground areas for the kiddos.Love the Woodlawn dog run area the most! It’s so well maintained and that’s pretty impressive. Being able to let the pups off the leash to run free is so exciting if you live in the city and don’t have a backyard or terrace. It’s not like typical dog parks, bc of the newer gate styles, benches, and the vertical positioning makes it a good amount of area for the dogs to run back and forth. Additionally, it’s like a two for one deal because it’s split down the middle by concrete and fencing, so probably everyone can enjoy the park without conflict between different dog types. The finely grounded sand feels good to stand on and probably stays cool in the summers and doesn’t get the dogs paws too messy.Definitely worth a stop by if you’re in the area! - Rachel Anyanwu
