Stonykill Farm Sierra Trailhead Reviews
Place is beautiful to walk. Lots of trees down and brush over growing on the trails tho so be careful when traversing. I tried to take my e-bike thru the trails and it did not have a good time. I would say this is mostly a hiking trail. But still a good time 👍
Jun 13, 2024 · damian lasherLovely trail that is a good way to pass the time. Easy hike that we took at a leisurely walking pace, minimal slopes except for a picnicing area. It's a beautiful place near the environmental center. We did see lots of wildlife and birds even with the rain. It does get overgrown in parts so I would emphasize dressing for the possibility of ticks. Good shade throughout most of the trail as well. I would recommend this for families too.
Apr 20, 2024 · Michelle LcPretty good for beginners (this is coming from a beginner)! Took the outer loop trail and took me 45 mins (2mi) and yes it takes you all the way in a loop. Was going to head back halfway because it seemed like the pathway was becoming too bushy and was worried it was a dead end but pushed through and made it all the way. There’s a sign that says no dogs but I took my yorkie. There were some tall grass areas so I carried him just to make sure no bugs would get stuck on him. Definitely keep legs fully covered due to these tall grass areas.Mosquito mania so wear bug spray!! Some paths were muddy so don’t wear your cute shoes.Other that that, super flat and did not feel out of breath lol

Sep 21, 2020 · Blaise Nothern WillAlways a classic stroll with some beaver dams, but ticks are serious here so be cautious and prepared for that! Easy hike for mom and dad.
