I was nervous to stay in NYC because I’m not a city person and pretty sensitive to noise when I’m sleeping. But my son wanted to go to NYC for his tenth birthday, and since he also loves Japan, we decided to stay here. I cannot say enough good things about the Kitano. It’s honestly one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in and I can’t wait to go back. The service was impeccable, and the room was cozy and most of all - QUIET. We never even heard other people opening and closing doors, which is usually an annoying thing in any hotel. The noise from the street was nonexistent, toilet seats were heated, towels were heated. Our room was also so spacious for NYC, and we even had a separate shower and bath, which was awesome when traveling with two kids. Love love loved it here, and I loved having Japanese breakfast in the room too! - Christina Carrell

Common promotions often include seasonal sales, such as "Spring Sale" or "Winter Escape" packages that may offer discounted room rates or added value. The hotel has been known to feature "Third Night Free" or "Fourth Night Free" promotions, particularly when booking with specific credit cards like American Express or Mastercard, which can provide significant savings for longer stays. These types of offers are excellent for locals looking to enjoy an extended staycation without breaking the bank.

For loyalty program members, such as those of Preferred Hotels & Resorts' "I Prefer Member Rate," exclusive discounts and benefits like complimentary in-room Wi-Fi may be available. While the hotel's breakfast buffet is noted as being quite expensive if purchased separately (around $70 with fees), some booking packages or loyalty statuses might include breakfast as part of the rate. Guests should carefully review what is included in their chosen package to avoid unexpected costs.

It is important to note, as highlighted in some customer reviews, that the hotel may have "resort fees" or "destination fees" that are not always clearly disclosed by third-party booking sites. Guests are strongly advised to confirm all fees and what they cover directly with the hotel or via the official website during the booking process to avoid any confusion or surprises upon check-in. Always ask for a full breakdown of charges, and clarify if any stated "credits" for food or services genuinely represent savings or are merely offsetting inflated prices.

Checking the "Offers" or "Promotions" section of the hotel's official website is the most reliable way to find the most current and transparent deals, ensuring you get the best value for your stay at The Prince Kitano New York.
