These passes are particularly beneficial for frequent visitors and local residents.
For instance, a Westchester County Park Pass (available for adults, juniors, families, seniors, disabled residents, veterans, and active military) can offer discounted daily admission rates for the swimming complex and reduced parking fees. While general park entry and access to most trails and playgrounds are often free, the pass becomes valuable for those utilizing the pool facilities or driving in. Specific costs for pool entry vary based on residency and pass holder status.
Additionally, the park often hosts community events, some of which may be free or have a nominal fee. For example, "Pitch In For Parks" volunteer clean-up events are held annually, and community 5K runs are occasionally organized. These events provide opportunities for engagement and recreation, though they are not traditional "promotions." May 28, 2025 · Vasilis Billy papaioannouNice big park to walk with family and dogs, many near brooks and lakes walking paths, probably at least 25 areas to BBQ
May 19, 2025 · Paul KimIt’s a great park to go for a walk around the lake/pond. With ducks and swans swimming in. Has plenty of benches and picnic area with grills around for a family outing.
Nov 13, 2024 · Uma KarimovaThe park is beautiful and they are currently renovating the gazebo. I wish I could go there during the summer but it's for local residents only. October is a nice time to see the leaves change. There's a long walking path, picnic tables with grills (reservation required during the hot season), a pond with ducks, geese, swans, and sometimes cranes, and a water park for the summer.
Oct 21, 2024 · Elena ZaikaMother nature gives us exactly what we need if we allow her...... beautiful park! Go and walk all the stress of the day away. Grounds are immaculately maintained. Highly recommended.
