Absolutely gorgeous route. Perfectly paced if you're taking the figure-8 (red straight through to the end, then follow blue in its s-shape till you hit back near the road). This has a couple of fantastic inclines with great viewpoints, fun scrambles. The only drawback is it tends to get a little buggy in the middle of summer; lots of gnats to deal with, so you've got to stay on the move.Otherwise, a great section of the park. Never too crowded (most folks stay near Highlands and Otter Hole in my experience), a great workout, great viewpoints. Awesome trail! - Jon Eckrich
