Vista LIC Hotel, Premier Collection by Best Western Reviews
This was a nice place to stay. Note that it is a 10-15 minute walk from the closest train station (which is fine with us, but just take note of it if you're not someone who enjoys walking). It's not in a super sketchy area which was nice and there are a couple in house dining options. Another thing to note is I used a virtual credit card number to make the initial reservation which caused some issues with check in. They had to refund that card and charge everything to the physical card (despite that it's the same card with a digital security number).Lastly, I have a couple recommendations for the room - a mini-fridge would be nice, as would blackout curtains. Everything else was good.
Apr 08, 2025 · Livy FIt’s a great place if you are traveling for business in Manhattan. Less than 8 minutes away from the train station by walking. The service was great, and the staff was helpful. The room was very spacious with a comfortable king bed, amazing views of the Midtown East area. The room could also have a mini fridge. Overall an amazing hotel for a great price and I recommend it to anyone considering it.
May 05, 2025 · Anes DemirovićI arrived at the hotel to discover that there was no place to park to check in. I circled the block a few times and then called. I was told that I would have to come in so they could assess how large my vehicle was to determine if it would fit in their parking area. I could not come in unless I left my kids in the car and park illegally. When checking in, I was told that the garage access was for 24 hours. That was not accurate according to the desk person the next morning. I asked if I could leave my car there until 5pm and was told I maybe could, but the manager would have to give final approval, but the manager wasn't going to be in for another 2 hours. I guess I was expected to wait and hold all my plans until they came in. I decided to check out and left about 30 minutes later. When I checked out I was told the manager said I could not leave the car, despite there only being 1 other car in the lot. The option/offer of paying for another day of parking came too late and I left. It was an inconvenience to find alternate parking. My point of this review is to let others know that the staff of the hotel, including the manager, will NOT go out of their way for you and obviously not looking for any repeat business. Otherwise, everything was good. The location was convenient to use mass transit and the view from the 7th floor was very nice.
May 01, 2025 · Jennifer CzarneckiI stayed there a few days ago with my husband. Our check-in was really smooth and fast, thanks to a young male receptionist. Special thanks to Angel from the reception, she was very professional and friendly. We stayed in a balcony room, and the view was amazing. However, there was an older man with glasses who called himself the General Manager. He asked us so many questions. We came to New York for vacation, and we don’t really like sharing our information with random people. It was really uncomfortable talking to that man. I would say don't forget to visit their rooftop bar, it is so amazing place.
Mar 11, 2025 · Ei Ei ZinEverything we needed for a short stay! Price was great & there was a fabulous view of the Manhattan skyline & the Queensbridge from our room! There’s also a cool rooftop bar that is definitely worth checking out for an even better view!! Hotel is well located in a quiet area where we felt safe & close to public transport. Special thank you to Rami :) for all the help & being so accommodating even with a late check in! All the staff we encountered were very kind & attentive; would definitely recommend this place!!!
