Von Briesen Park

Bay Street & North Road, Staten Island, NY 10305, USA

4.0
This was my first time going to this park with a few people. I was supposed to go to fort Wadsworth to take pictures. We drove around the area for a few minutes but the people that took me there didn't know what to do. 😐 This place is next to the base or connected to it. It's a great park for its open space, but it was a little muddy because it just rained there. We did a little walk around and I did take some pictures. I did see two nice views of the Verrazano bridge and the whole ocean. I didn't see any bathrooms yet but I'm pretty sure there is. It is a breeze to walk in this area but it's just not the best time right now. I'm not saying it's bad, it's just the way I experienced it. 😊👍 Maybe I'll come back when it's snowing or when the sun is shining 🌞. - Micah Mills

  • Open Green Space for Recreation: The park offers significant "open space" that is suitable for various informal activities. This includes areas for casual walks, relaxing, or letting dogs run (in designated areas or on leash as per park rules). One review noted it's a "great park for its open space," even if it can be "a little muddy" after rain.

  • Walking Paths/Trails: The park features pathways that allow visitors to "do a little walk around."
