As a New York State Park, Wildwood State Park's primary offering is accessible outdoor recreation for all residents and visitors. Therefore, there are no traditional "promotions" or "special offers" in the commercial sense. The park's fees are standardized by New York State Parks, covering vehicle entrance and camping/cottage rentals.
However, New York State Parks does offer programs and passes that can provide cost savings for frequent visitors, which could be considered an ongoing "special offer" for locals. The most notable is the Empire Pass, an annual pass that provides unlimited day-use vehicle entry to most New York State Parks and DEC forest preserve facilities. For residents who plan to visit Wildwood State Park or other state parks frequently throughout the year, purchasing an Empire Pass can lead to significant savings on vehicle entrance fees. Information about the Empire Pass and how to purchase it can be found on the official New York State Parks website.
Additionally, the park itself might host seasonal events or educational programs that are included with the vehicle entrance fee or are low-cost. During July and August, for example, movies are shown weekly, and campers can enjoy an evening of line or square dancing, adding value to a camping stay. To stay informed about any specific events or limited-time programs, it is always advisable to check the official Wildwood State Park page on the New York State Parks website or call the park directly.

Wildwood State Park Reviews
We enjoyed our weekend here. The campground is clean and well maintained. There is lots to do although we had a short stay and didn’t get to take full advantage of all there was. The only downside is this is NOT a dog friendly campground/park which was disappointing.
May 12, 2025 · Cindy BuergeThe water and fishing isn't the best but the view, sand and rocks are the best! Me and my family went for rocks for our garden and I brought my rod (only caught seaweed). The rocks and photos we got were top tier!
May 10, 2025 · Kaleem JilaniGreat camping site along with 10 outstanding cottages. A little of everything to do, trails, beach, camping and children playground. Clean restrooms.
