There are no admission fees to enter or use these amenities.
Community Programs: The City of Yonkers Parks, Recreation & Conservation Department often hosts free or low-cost community programs and events in its parks, including Andrus Park. Residents are now able to enjoy state-of-the-art facilities that were previously unavailable or outdated, without any additional cost to them for general use.
Health and Wellness Benefits: The park implicitly offers invaluable "promotions" in the form of improved public health and mental well-being. Providing accessible spaces for exercise and relaxation contributes directly to the quality of life for residents, a benefit that far outweighs any monetary promotion.
Availability for Permitted Events: While not a direct promotion, the park's facilities can be reserved for organized community events, sports leagues, or private gatherings through the Yonkers Parks Department. This allows groups to utilize the park for specific functions, often with a permit fee, but enabling organized recreational opportunities.

Jun 28, 2018 · Shaquasia WilliamsIt looked very nice from the road as I was driving by to go to. I have never been to the park... I just drive by it when I go to work.
Nov 08, 2019 · Victoria CaggianoThere is a certain big field so you can do many things like playing soccer, football, baseball. There are 3 baseball fields, and there is a small park for kids to play in. There is also a basketball court and a tennis court. In the tennis court, there are 3 nets, so many people can play at once. You can do many things here.
May 07, 2024 · AnthonyNice small park for little children. I bring my 2 year old here and he loves the swings. Is there anyway to donate to help get newer swings or a couple up to date things? The swings are rusty and has sharp areas. I'd hate for a kid to get hurt.
