Arlo NoMad Reviews
The hotel is in one of the best locations you could ask for — right in the heart of the city, so we didn’t have to spend any time commuting to the center. We were also able to find a good parking spot for the duration of our stay. It’s not easy, but definitely doable. The view from our room was amazing. We booked the most expensive option, but unfortunately, at night we could hear the elevator and some other noises. When we brought this up to the staff, they were kind and offered us a different room. It seemed like they were aware of the issue — I mentioned it sounded like a door was constantly opening and closing due to the wind, but they explained it was something related to the elevator that they couldn’t fix.The rooms themselves are extremely small, and the “king bed” was definitely not what we expected — it felt more like a queen size at best. That said, the water pressure in the shower was excellent, which I really appreciated!Overall, I would recommend this hotel for a short stay. Anything longer than four days might be uncomfortable, but for a quick trip of three days or less, it’s ideal. They also have a nice rooftop.
May 26, 2025 · Ecaterina L.We stayed at Arlo NoMad for our most recent trip to NY. We chose Arlo because it was affordable and looked nice enough. The room was in great condition and had all of the essentials. They are on the smaller side, but there was a nice large window which helped it feel spacious. The location was perfect. We walked to a lot of sights and there was easy access to stations. The staff were really helpful. They also explained that our stay came with some credits for bike hire and took the time to explain to us how it worked.Roof top bar with amazing views was a huge bonus. Great spot for a martini!
Apr 15, 2025 · Rachel WebbClean, safe and convenient! Stayed here at the end of March for 3 nights for a little spring break trip with my husband. Great location in walking distance of transit and things to see/do. Loved that there were options for food and grabbed a tasty croissant from the bodega one morning but never got the chance to try the Diner. Kind and helpful staff all around. Our room was very small but very clean and efficiently laid out with places to squirrel away our bags. Loved that there was a minifridge and the free water was nice! The bed was stiff as heck so that was not an enjoyable night sleep but cant complain otherwise. The room was also shockingly very quiet! No street noise nor sounds from other guests!! Shower water pressure was fab too. Ideal for single or couple travelers/shorter stays based on the size and firm ass bed.
Apr 06, 2025 · Madelyn DraftzI went up to the rooftop on a Sunday afternoon, the view up there felt like an authentic new york city scene. Frozen mango margarita was fresh ,strong, and tasty!! Will definitely be a destination I revisit after work since its in the area. Elvis, Trevor, and John were very chill servers. Arlo Nomads rooftop is a place to checkout and would recommend to anyone looking for a good summer vibe.
May 25, 2025 · osmani212The location is good and the staff, especially Brianna and Moses, were genuinely kind and helpful.Unfortunately, the rooms are extremely small, felt almost claustrophobic, and wasn’t as clean as it should be for the price point. Views were decent but nothing unforgettable. It honestly feels like the hotel’s popularity is driven more by influencer marketing than actual quality, the price point just isn’t justified by what you get. There are much better hotels in NYC with more space, better amenities, and more reasonable rates.
