Barbour Park Reviews
the park has obviously new equipment for kids to play on, but the people loitering just outside the park with open alcohol containers would scare them off. I was looking forward to having my daughter play there. I was also unaware that the park had been closed as well as why it had been closed. Online news articles reveal that there was found to be unsafe amounts of lead in the soil. There was also a layer of trash scattered throughout the entire play area. Very upsetting to explain to my 7 year old that she couldn't play there. Beyond just the park, the surrounding neighborhood needs to be cleaned up in order for this place to be safe for kids.
