Best Western Plus Soho Hotel Reviews
The staff was really friendly, polite, and always eager to help us with anything we needed. The cleaning service was generally good, but it could have been better. On some days, the room didn’t feel properly cleaned — for example, the floor wasn’t always free of hair, and most days they only changed the towels. The breakfast did not live up to the price we paid for the hotel. The options were very limited, and if you arrived late, there was hardly anything left. Also, the use of paper plates gave the whole experience a cheap feel.On a positive note, the location was amazing — the area had a real NYC vibe, and I absolutely loved the neighborhood! Another great feature was the lobby, where free cold and warm water, coffee, and tea were available 24/7. That was definitely a plus!
May 17, 2025 · Pely KorreI had a great stay at Best Western Plus Soho Hotel. I moved here for my final two nights in New York after staying in Times Square, and I was pleasantly surprised. The check-in experience was smooth, and the lady at reception was very helpful, clearly explaining everything. I appreciated the 24/7 availability of coffee, tea, and water in the lobby, especially considering how pricey bottled water can be in New York. The breakfast offered plenty of options, including hot choices, and while I’m not a fan of paper plates, at least the cutlery wasn’t plastic. The room was a good size, clean, and included a desk, which was convenient for getting some work done. The bathroom was also decent, and the TV worked well. The location is excellent walking distance to Chinatown, Little Italy, and other nearby spots. My main critique would be the use of paper plates during breakfast. Although I understand it's convenient, it would be great to see more sustainable options in place.
Apr 23, 2025 · Heath SchembriPerfect location for a NYC breakI recently stayed here for 4 nights. Every aspect of hotel was perfect. The staff were so friendly especially Donte at reception. The staff at breakfast were also very friendly. Breakfast included a selection of hot and cold options such as cereals and bread. The hot options included bacon , make your own waffles eggs. The location is great for exploring Chinatown and afar as at least 6 different subway entrances within few minutes walk.Housekeeping were also great. The bed was comfy and tv offered a great choice of viewing.
Mar 01, 2025 · William SheehyGreat and very helpful staff. Everyone was there with a smile on their face and eager to help us when needed. Although the breakfast was very mediocre. The eggs were like they were cooked in the oven, the options were limited, some things (like muffins) were not refilled when empty, so if you were not one one the firsts on breakfast you may have less options. Also paper plates gave you a sense of cheap and not sustainable environment.
May 08, 2025 · George KolliasHighly recommended hotel, we had a wonderful stay in there, great location, easy access through subway to time square, MoMa, Central Park and others. Rooms were really clean, bed really comfortable and in a quiet neighbourhood. Special thanks to Donte at the front desk, lovely person always here to ask you if everything is alright, give us good info on where to go and to eat, and most of all a really nice person to chat with. Also mention Lara who prepared us nice breakfast every morning with a big smile on her face and always have kind words to the customers. And finally Giselle, the housekeeping who cleaned our room very professionally and also left us a handwritten note after we thanked her. I have been travelling the world and I can tell that it is the first time that I had such a lovely experience in a hotel where I can personally thank staff by mentioning their name ! If you plan a trip to New York, be sure to stay at Brest western plus SoHo. You will definitely enjoy your stay there not just because of the hotel by itself but by the wonderful people who work there !!!
