One of the most compelling features of the Best Western Plus Stadium Inn is its strategic location, particularly its proximity to Yankee Stadium. This makes it an ideal choice for sports fans attending games or events at the iconic venue. The hotel's ability to offer "awesome views of Manhattan" from its rooms is a significant highlight, transforming a standard hotel stay into a visually memorable experience. This visual amenity elevates its status as a "Scenic Spot" within the urban landscape, allowing guests to enjoy the vibrancy of the city even when relaxing in their rooms.
The consistent praise for the staff's professionalism and willingness to accommodate guest needs, even during a holiday weekend, is another distinguishing feature. The emphasis on "safe sleep" and adherence to policies like "no weed smoking no short stays" indicates an effort to maintain a respectable and comfortable atmosphere for all guests. The fact that a local Bronx resident, initially "nervous" about the location, ended up "highly recommend this hotel," speaks volumes about the positive impression it leaves on its guests. The "very decent" complimentary breakfast adds practical value, ensuring guests start their day well-fed.
The Best Western Plus Stadium Inn, with its affiliation to the Best Western brand, benefits from a global marketing network that promotes its presence and offerings. Information regarding reservations, room types, rates, and detailed amenity lists can be found on the official Best Western website, as well as on various online travel agencies (OTAs). Promotional efforts often highlight its proximity to Yankee Stadium and its value as a lodging option in New York City, especially for those seeking accommodation in the Bronx. Guest reviews, like those provided, serve as powerful testimonials, influencing potential visitors. While there was a negative review concerning cleanliness and management's response, other reviews strongly counter this, praising the cleanliness of the rooms and the exceptional staff service. This mixed feedback indicates that the hotel is actively working to address concerns while maintaining its positive attributes. The hotel's commitment to accessibility and guest safety are also key selling points. Best Western Plus Stadium Inn Reviews
Arrived 5/25 for a one night stay, 2 rooms as there were 8 of us. Within 3 hours of checking in to the hotel, I woke to find a rash on my inner left arm and upper chest. I sleep on my stomach with arm under the pillow. I immediately called the front desk and went downstairs once confirming there was a female present. I was not offered a different room but simply told that she would contact her General manager, Anil Panwala. At checkout the following morning I had not heard back from anyone and again discussed in detail with the staff member at the front desk what had transpired the previous night. In my presence she too reached out to him via text only to be told not to give his number out. At a minimum, he could have comped the room for the incident seeing as to how I spent the rest of the night sitting up in the provided chair. I did not have a problem paying $271 for the night or for the second room. Clearly the rash’s was caused by the linens. This isn’t the first review regarding cleanliness for this property. Just 3 months after opening there is a review regarding stained bed sheets and pillow cases but the manager indicated linens are changed daily ?When Mr Panwala did respond on Monday 5/27, 2 days after the incident it was only to be say that my allergic reaction was not his responsibility and that he was home dealing with a special needs daughter. As a business owner myself, both my husband and I are available 24/7 by phone should something there requires immediate attention occur. I know that I did not arrive with the rash and coincidentally the rash was only present on the exposed areas of my body. Lower body is clear as is my right arm. My bank has intervened and will be disputing the charge secondary to the correspondence I have had with Mr Panwala 👎
Apr 15, 2025 · Stacey EspinozaLet me say this, I was very optimistic about staying there. I'm born and raised in the Bronx so I know. However after driving up to it I was still a little nervous.Once I walked in the front desk clerk was awesome. She accommodate us in every way from price to handicap parking and elevator. The price was fair considering it was a holiday weekend. The staff was very pleasant and once again accomdating, the security guard gave up his parking space just for us to be safe. The rooms were very clean with awesome views of Manhattan. Breakfast was good too. It wasn't chef style but it was very decent for a Best Western.I highly recommend this hotel no weed smoking no short stays I had a good night safe sleep. Five stars
May 31, 2022 · Rodney HarrawayGreat location as far as proximity to the stadium. It's like. 6 min walk from out of the stadium to the hotel. Room was fine, no complaints. Peaked my head in for free breakfast and the room seemed a bit crowded and I had a plane to catch. They had security at the front desk which I haven't seen too often.I chose the side with the river view. The cars were definitely whizzing by as the expressway was right below. They had construction in the morning also. If you are a light sleeper both of those might keep you awake. I was too exhausted to care.Overall I was definitely satisfied. No complaints.I didn't have a car, but parking would definitely be an issue.
May 31, 2022 · mike zaragoza CFDBetter than what I was expecting a hotel to be like in this neighborhood. Annoying that there are 11 floors with multiple rooms on each but only 9 parking spaces in the lot. The building is narrow and tall. Room could’ve been a little cleaner. Would’ve liked some more fresh produce options for breakfast. Bed was comfortable and I felt pretty safe.
Jun 22, 2022 · SLBetter than most motels/hotels in the area. It's definitely an ideal location for the stadium but a decent hike to the train. There is a very small parking lot for guests... but any amount of "reserved" parking in the area is a bonus when booking a room. There are no housekeeping services ("because of covid") and if you want fresh towels each guest had to go to the front desk for themselves. The breakfast was decent but the staff waited to refill things (like the meat and eggs) until people were forced to clear out the less desirable items because that's all that was left.
