Botsford Briar Reviews
My boyfriend and I stayed here over the weekend and had a wonderful experience! Shirley is super nice and knowledgeable about the area. The rooms were really cute and its a nice plot of land with a pretty front and back yard. The victorian style of the home and all the fixtures are amazing! Classically beautiful B and B, and not a far walk from Main st and the train station. I was sad to leave such a beautiful place!
Sep 20, 2022 · Ava FShirley is such a wonderful host! My partner and I stayed in the Rose room for 3 nights and we absolutely loved our stay in Beacon! The decor was great, and the room was very clean and spacious. We will definitely be booking with Shirley again for our future stays in Beacon.
Sep 19, 2022 · Caleb FarhiMy boyfriend and I booked a room here last minute, and from the moment I spoke with Shirley, the owner, on the phone, she was sweet and warm as can be. The only room they had left to book for the evening was "their best room," she said, which was the Magnolia Room. It was definitely the best! With a nearly completely panoramic view of the Hudson River Valley from either the enclosed deck (which is exclusive to the room), or the outside deck (which is public, but accessible from the enclosed deck). Both Shirley and her inn-keeping partner Charlie were so sweet yet professional, and everything about our stay there was all we wanted it to be. We'll definitely be regulars from now on! :)
Jan 23, 2012 · Danielle RothI called and the person who answered was extremely rude. I would never consider staying here in the future.
Apr 04, 2025 · Chelsea HallowellVery quaint and relaxing place to stay. Shirley is so sweet and accommodating! Will be back :)
