Brookfield Park Reviews
Outstanding park area with spectacular views of Staten Island woodlands and river area. Always enough parking and great security and park Rangers keep the area clean for whole family.
Feb 24, 2025 · Frank EspositoSuper well-paved path/trail to walk on. I see some water fowl often. Very nice for walking, jogging, bicycling, and I sometimes hear atv somewhere close by. It could use some Port o potties by the lot.
Apr 23, 2025 · Lisa AThis park is amazing for walking, running and biking. The park has very smooth roads for biking and great trails for walking and running. It's pretty amazing how they constructed this park. There is tons of parking and two walk in entrances along Arthur kill road.My only wish would be that it had a connection to the greenbelt trail across the water. Also the trails are usually overgrown in the summer. They don't really do a good job maintaining the trails which is a real shame because the best part about this part is when you get off the asphalt.
Oct 04, 2023 · SeanA great park for walking, jogging, cycling, rollerblading and bird watching. It does look like a sanctuary with a gorgeous view on the river and some woods in the backdrop (save for the annoying safety fence that ruins some of the views). There are not many trees within the accessible areas of the park itself, but it doesn't stop all these beautiful birds from nestling in the tall weeds and shrubs, or taking a splash in the water. Definitely bring your telephoto-lens camera or a pair of binoculars. You'll be astonished what you can spot. It's really hard to imagine this once used to be a municipal garbage dump! Well, definitely not anymore, so it's time to put on your running/hiking shoes and head out here.
