Circa Central Park Introduce
New York City's real estate market is renowned for its diverse offerings, from historic brownstones to sleek modern towers. For those seeking the pinnacle of urban living, particularly with direct access to the city's most beloved green space, properties bordering Central Park are highly coveted. Circa Central Park, located at a prominent corner of West 110th Street and Central Park West, stands as a testament to modern luxury living at the gateway to Harlem. This isn't a traditional public park, but rather a high-end residential building whose very name and appeal are intrinsically linked to its unparalleled proximity to Central Park, making it a "park" in the context of upscale urban living.
Developed as a significant addition to the Central Park North skyline, Circa Central Park offers residents a unique blend of sophisticated design, premium amenities, and breathtaking views. For New Yorkers looking to upgrade their living situation, invest in a prime piece of Manhattan real estate, or simply understand the landscape of luxury developments adjacent to iconic landmarks, Circa Central Park represents a compelling case study. It's a building that promises not just a home, but a lifestyle deeply intertwined with the natural beauty and vibrant culture of both Central Park and Harlem. This article will explore the key features and advantages that make Circa Central Park a desirable residential address for those seeking an elevated urban experience.
Circa Central Park is prominently located at 285 W 110th St, New York, NY 10026, USA. This address is precisely at the Northeast corner of Central Park West and West 110th Street, which is also known as Frederick Douglass Circle. This strategic location offers residents direct and immediate access to Central Park, making it an ideal choice for park enthusiasts. It also serves as a gateway to the vibrant and culturally rich neighborhood of Harlem, bridging the serene expanse of the park with the dynamic energy of one of New York City's most historic communities.
The accessibility of Circa Central Park is one of its most significant advantages, ensuring that residents can easily navigate throughout New York City. The building is literally just across the street from a major subway station, making commuting and exploring incredibly convenient:
- Subway Access: The 110th Street – Central Park North subway station, serving the 2 and 3 express trains, is directly across the street. This provides rapid transit to Midtown (Times Square, Penn Station), Downtown Manhattan, and Brooklyn. Additionally, the B and C local trains are accessible at the 110th Street (Cathedral Parkway) station on Frederick Douglass Boulevard, a very short walk away, offering further connectivity.
- Bus Routes: Numerous MTA bus lines operate along Central Park West and Frederick Douglass Boulevard, providing extensive local coverage within Harlem and to other parts of Manhattan.
- Proximity to Columbia and Barnard: The building is also a short walk from the campuses of Columbia University and Barnard College, making it an attractive location for faculty, staff, and students, or those who frequently visit the academic institutions.
- Pedestrian and Cycling Friendly: With Central Park at its doorstep, residents have immediate access to miles of pedestrian and cycling paths for recreation and direct routes through the park.
The combination of direct subway access, major bus routes, and immediate proximity to Central Park makes Circa Central Park exceptionally well-connected and convenient for any New Yorker.
As a luxury condominium building, Circa Central Park offers an extensive array of services and amenities designed to provide a high standard of living and convenience for its residents. While not a public "park" in the traditional sense, its services cater to a sophisticated urban lifestyle. These services typically include:
- 24-Hour Doorman and Concierge Service: Providing security, assistance with deliveries, and a range of personal services.

Circa Central Park stands out as a luxury residential building due to several distinctive features and highlights that cater to a discerning clientele:
- Direct Central Park Access: The most significant highlight is its unparalleled location literally across the street from Central Park. Many units offer direct, unobstructed southern exposure with stunning park views, a highly sought-after commodity in New York City.
- Modern Luxury Condominium: Completed in 2017, Circa Central Park is a relatively new development, featuring contemporary design, high-end finishes, and state-of-the-art construction, setting it apart from older buildings in the area.
- Unique Layouts and Private Outdoor Spaces: The building is noted for offering "unique layouts," which can include a variety of floor plans to suit different needs. Crucially, some units boast private outdoor spaces, such as terraces, which are exceptionally rare and valuable in Manhattan, providing private oases with potential park views.
- Comprehensive Amenities Package: With a 24/7 doorman, concierge, fitness center, children's playroom, and a common rooftop terrace, the building provides a full suite of luxury amenities that enhance resident comfort and lifestyle.
- Proximity to Frederick Douglass Circle and Statue: The building's location at Frederick Douglass Circle, featuring the statue of the abolitionist, imbues it with historical and cultural significance, connecting residents to Harlem's rich heritage.
- Gateway to Harlem and Upper West Side: Its position at 110th Street makes it a natural bridge between the vibrant cultural scene of Harlem and the classic residential charm of the Upper West Side, offering residents the best of both worlds.
- Renowned Design and Quality: As a new development, it represents the latest in luxury building standards, with a focus on quality construction and aesthetic appeal, often featuring expansive glass windows that maximize natural light and views.
As a luxury condominium building, Circa Central Park does not offer "promotions" or "special offers" in the same way a retail business or hotel might. Its value is derived from its prime location, high-end construction, and comprehensive amenities. However, in the real estate market, potential "offers" for prospective buyers or renters could include:
- Market-Dependent Pricing: Unit prices and common charges are subject to market conditions, and a diligent buyer or renter (working with a real estate agent) might find opportunities based on current market trends, property availability, and negotiation.
- Broker Incentives: Real estate brokers representing units in the building may offer incentives to potential buyers or renters, such as covering closing costs or offering a portion of their commission, though this is dependent on the individual broker.
- Sponsor Units: If any units are still being sold by the original developer (sponsor), there might occasionally be specific incentives or flexible terms offered directly by the sponsor.
- Furnished Rental Options: Some units may be available as furnished rentals, which can offer convenience for those seeking a move-in ready luxury living solution without the upfront costs of furnishing.
- Private Events and Showings: For serious prospective buyers or renters, private showings of available units are a standard "offer," allowing them to experience the unique layouts and park views firsthand. Exclusive open houses are often held to showcase units.
Given that Circa Central Park is a residential condominium building, direct contact is typically through real estate agents who are listing units for sale or rent within the building, or through the building's management office for residents.

Circa Central Park Reviews
Luxury condos at the North East corner of CPW and 110th Street. There's a statue of Frederick Douglass placed in the circle of 110th and CPW turns into Frederick Douglass Blvd.Ever since that statue was placed here, now heads are crossing 110th street. This building was the first new development after Towers On The Park, and many more have come up since.Few offer these types of unique layouts, amenities and some units have private outdoor space.Literally just across the street from Central Park and the 110th street subway, also a short walk from Columbia and Barnard.Just left here and previewed a wonderful unit on the 7th floor with direct southern exposure offering unobstructed park views. It was packed for a private event, so no pictures taken.Feel free to contact me ASAP before someone else is living in YOUR NYC dream home.
