Pines Motor Lodge - Long Island Motel Introduce
The Pines Motor Lodge - Long Island Motel, located at 636 NY-109, Lindenhurst, NY 11757, presents itself as a lodging option in Suffolk County. As a motel, its primary service is to provide temporary accommodation. When considering this establishment as a "Scenic Spot" within a platform category, it is important to understand that motels, particularly those positioned along major roadways like NY-109, typically prioritize accessibility for travelers over picturesque views or extensive recreational amenities found in traditional scenic destinations. The focus here is on providing a place to stay for a night or a short period.
The environment of the Pines Motor Lodge is crucial to understand for potential guests. Situated directly on NY-109, a state highway, the immediate surroundings are characterized by typical commercial roadside development. This means convenient access for vehicular traffic but also exposure to road noise. Customer reviews provide a concerning picture of the internal environment. Multiple reviews describe the rooms as "disgusting" and report issues with cleanliness, specifically citing the presence of "roaches" in various rooms. One guest reported a "big roach crawling" near their head and "many others" under the mattress. Such descriptions indicate significant concerns regarding hygiene and pest control within the lodging. Beyond the physical state of the rooms, the reviews suggest a challenging social environment. Guests report "nothing but a bunch of junkies lingering around the whole place and hookers," indicating concerns about illegal activities and a potentially unsafe atmosphere. The "worst morning ever" review further corroborates this, likening the establishment to a "crackhead Motel" and mentioning "police have no problem harassing their guest," suggesting frequent law enforcement presence. This portrayal of the environment indicates a lack of a serene or peaceful setting, contrasting sharply with expectations of a "Scenic Spot." The reviews also point to issues with basic amenities, such as "no heat in the room" during winter and a non-functional "Jacuzzi."
Regarding services, the primary service offered by Pines Motor Lodge, as a motel, is the provision of a room for the night. However, customer experiences raise significant doubts about the quality and reliability of these services. The lack of functional heating in winter directly impacts guest comfort, making the room unsuitable for its intended purpose. The reported absence of "compliments for the Jacuzzi" (likely meaning it was not operational or available) indicates a failure to deliver on advertised or expected amenities. Customer interactions with staff are also negatively reviewed. One guest described the people that work there as "rude" and another mentioned a clerk who "seemed like she was on drugs." This suggests a lack of professional and courteous customer service, which is a fundamental expectation for any lodging establishment. The phone numbers, (631) 957-3330 and +1 631-957-3330, are available for direct contact, presumably for reservations or inquiries. However, the severe customer feedback implies that the quality of service delivery at the motel is a significant concern. There is no information provided about any goods for sale on site, and based on the reviews, it is unlikely that additional services beyond basic room rental are reliably offered or of satisfactory quality.
The features of the Pines Motor Lodge, as described by guests, are largely negative and raise significant concerns about the establishment's suitability. While the motel may present certain rooms in promotional materials as "remodeled" and "good rooms," customers assert that "The rooms that they show you on that site are the only two good rooms that were remodeled the rest of the place is disgusting." This implies a significant discrepancy between advertised features and the reality of most guest accommodations. The presence of pests like "roaches" is a major negative feature that directly impacts hygiene and comfort. Non-functional heating in winter is another critical deficiency. The recurring theme in reviews of "junkies knocking on your door" and a general atmosphere of "crackheads and hookers" suggests that the motel may attract or tolerate illicit activities, making it an unsafe and undesirable environment for many travelers. One review specifically highlights a "horrific and horrible experience" due to perceived harassment by Suffolk County police, alleging racial bias against "black or Latino" guests in the parking lot. While this is a serious and specific allegation that would require independent verification, its inclusion in a guest review points to a highly problematic and potentially discriminatory environment. The review also criticizes the pricing, stating that "it’s not worth it" and guests would "do better to get a regular room at a regular hotel to be treated with respect," suggesting the value proposition is poor. The "heat is control by the main office" is another feature mentioned as a negative, indicating a lack of individual room climate control for guests.
Promotional information for Pines Motor Lodge, based on the provided reviews, would struggle to objectively highlight positive aspects that align with a "Scenic Spot" category. Any marketing would likely need to contend with severe customer complaints about cleanliness, safety, and service quality. The reviews strongly advise against staying at this location, with explicit warnings such as "by all means if you wanna Payfor a place to stay for the night that is the same amount of money you could pay a nice hotel by all means do so you’ll end up with nothing but a bunch of junkies knocking on your door" and "I will never recommend anybody. I will never visit that one in Suffolk County." The sentiment is that the price is "not worth it" and that guests should "do better to go to Nassau County" for a safer and more respectable experience. The severe allegations of racial harassment by law enforcement, if accurate, represent a profound safety and ethical concern that would significantly impact any promotional efforts. The reviews suggest that the motel is perceived as a location for "sting operation for crackheads and hookers," which is a highly damaging public image. For local users seeking accommodation, the available information presents a strong cautionary tale, advising against staying at this particular Pines Motor Lodge location in Suffolk County due to documented concerns about safety, cleanliness, service, and potentially discriminatory practices. The consistent advice is to seek alternatives that offer respect and a safer environment, even at a comparable price. The given reviews do not provide any information that would allow for promotion as a desirable "Scenic Spot" or even a reliably functional motel. Instead, they serve as a critical warning for potential guests.

Pines Motor Lodge - Long Island Motel Reviews
The rooms that they show you on that site are the only two good rooms that were remodeled the rest of the place is disgusting. I personally stayed there a couple of times and all those times in different rooms I have seen roaches. I literally was sitting on the bed one time and right behind my head was a big roach crawling, lifted up the mattress and there were many others and the other room, many others the heat doesn’t work in the winter time and the people that work there are rude, and there is nothing but a bunch of junkies lingering around the whole place and hookers so by all means if you wanna Payfor a place to stay for the night that is the same amount of money you could pay a nice hotel by all means do so you’ll end up with nothing but a bunch of junkies knocking on your door
Jun 19, 2024 · RL MooreThe worst morning ever in my entire life first let’s start off that there was no heat in the room no compliments for the Jacuzzi. I really felt like I was in a crackhead Motel the top it off. May 06, 2024 · Stacy Benjamin (Ace)Made a reservation 2 weeks ago coming from North Carolina got to ny and called the motel only to tell me they can’t find my reservation and they have no rooms available! I asked her if they could recommend somewhere else and she said no! I had to pay double the amount for an another motel! Then I called and asked if they would have a room available for tonight she said I don’t know I don’t know who’s checking out!!!!! Very rude and how did they lose my reservation? Never had a problem before and have never seen them sold out! Not happy
Feb 02, 2024 · Patricia FoxSee I've been here when they first upgraded their Jacuzzi rooms and it was very lovely put together now I've noticed that maybe people are not so nice and they destroy public property such as shower handles are loosened now and not really focused on temperature setting and sending anymore! I don't know about maintenance because me I clean after and before everything I don't know if they're using Real Cleaning Supplies on these rooms anymore due to the fact that I waited for at least 20 minutes for the cleaning crew to get done with the room and they still left other people's skin crumbs inside of the jacuzzi so I took my bleach and washed it over also for the shower cleaning is a very very big part of these types of environments and if it's not clean it's a Germy environment!
Oct 22, 2017 · Carmella JonesDo not stay here at all. The room had an awful smell that it was so hard to sleep. The water from the shower wasn’t going down so the water flooded the entire floor in the bathroom and the room . Also when I checked out I forgot my sneakers so I called them to see if they had it , they said yes and they would put it in the laundry room. I went back the next day my sneakers was gone . So one of the workers stole it. Which is crazy to me. Overall this place is terrible DONT waste your money staying here.
