Extended Stay America - Norwalk - Stamford presents a highly suitable option for Connecticut locals facing various temporary housing needs. Its fundamental design, centered around apartment-style living with fully equipped kitchens, provides a level of comfort and practicality that standard hotels cannot match for longer durations. Extended Stay America - Norwalk - Stamford Reviews
The staff was excellent, so no issues there. I last stayed here about 10 years ago and it does not appear that much has been done to the property since then. Given the price point, I regret not spending the extra $100 for the night to stay somewhere else. Did it get the job done? Yes. Did I like it? No. Will I stay there again? Definitely not.Room was outdated, needed a good cleaning, and there were repairs that needed to be done.
Apr 21, 2025 · Andrew ChmielewskiWe booked online, and going up the roadway was sketchy. There was a sign that reserved 2 parking spots for police. We should have turned and left then, but we didn't. As we walked in, it looked like blood on the ground. You could literally smell the dirtiness. We continued to our room. The first thing my daughter did was open the blinds and mistake, filthy, check the bed, and find a bed bug. Needless to say, we got a refund and left. The lady at the front desk was very accommodating and friendly.
May 18, 2025 · Rhonda BischertI wanted to point out one thing. Sadly, the Manager TIARA THOMAS has the worst customer service skill ever. Met her twice out of the whole month staying there and none was pleasant. She was unprofessional and so rude. She spoke with no respect to others and never once smiled.Met her the first time was because my key didn’t work and needed to get a new one. The Front Desk was often empty. The sign on the desk said to call for assistant. So I called. FYI, that desk phone wasn’t the best working phone. I couldn’t hear what she was saying the first time, so I called the second time. She answered with a very rude tone and said “I told you I will come”. Although, I apologized to her, I told her I couldn’t hear her very well the first time and she just hung up the phone without responding. She showed up with a mean face and a strong stared. No greetings. I spoke what I needed and she was still silent. She took my key, gave me a new one, and with a rude tone she said “you’re welcome” like she was very annoyed. Another case which is the second time I met her and actually talked to her, I went down to get a package. Saw her, smiled to her and say “Hi, I….” and she just cut me off and said with a rude tone “Don’t interrupt me, I’m with another customer right now. You did this all the time”. OMG! It was inexplainable how rude she was. Miss Tiara, please explain to me when did I interrupted you before this second meeting with you? Was it the last time I was asking for help on the phone? For God sake, how would I know what you were doing when I was talking to you on the phone? Have some common sense and don’t tell me that I lied. You have cameras. Go ahead and check for Sunday May the 18th, 2025, that was our first meeting. See how many times I called you from the desk phone. Our second meeting was Saturday May the 24th, 2025.I traveled quite often for work and I was a Hotelier myself. I never once met a Front Desk Receptionist as rude as her in my life.As a Hotelier, you should know how to anticipate guests' needs and provide them with a PLEASANT experience during their stay. You are the first point of contact of the Hotel. It doesn’t matter what kind of hotel it is, how cheap or expensive it is, and where the location is. BE KIND AND RESPECT YOUR GUESTS. It would not kill you to be nice. No matter how overwhelming your duty is, it should not affect the quality of your work.Anyway, I get that my review doesn’t necessarily mean anything nor will it change her attitude. Because I saw that my review wasn’t the first complaint about her and she is still there. But at least it will make people aware of her more.
May 24, 2025 · Anne SheffieldI only stayed at the hotel for one night. I love that the room had a kitchen however there was a weird smell in the room. I also was disappointed in the mention of breakfast because it truly was basically snacks! If your going to say your serving breakfast from 6:00 am to 9:30....you should have a real breakfast like eggs, bacon, waffles etc. I woke up early with my granddaughter for snacks. Very disappointing.
Mar 12, 2025 · Kecia DePassThis is the worst hotel to stay in and the customer service was aweful especially when the manager wasn’t there. She wasn’t the nicest person! Plus the clean towels in the room were dirty and some I got even had poop on them! It’s not safe there at all!My tub in my bathroom wasn’t cleaned right after the cleaned and it the water would never go down! Don’t stay here! I want my money back!
