Flushing Motel Introduce
The Flushing Motel, situated at 34-50 Linden Pl, Flushing, NY 11354, USA, operates as a lodging establishment within the bustling and diverse urban landscape of Flushing, Queens. Positioned within the platform category of "Scenic Spot," it functions as a base for visitors who may be exploring the numerous attractions and cultural experiences that Flushing and the wider New York City area offer. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview based on available information, including notable customer feedback.
The Flushing Motel is located in Linden Place, a street within the vibrant Flushing neighborhood of Queens. Flushing is renowned for its large and thriving Asian community, offering an incredibly diverse culinary scene, unique shopping experiences, and cultural institutions. The area is a major transportation hub, with easy access to subway lines (like the 7 train), Long Island Rail Road (LIRR), and numerous bus routes, providing convenient connections to Manhattan and other parts of New York City. This accessibility makes it a practical location for travelers looking to explore the city. Points of interest in the immediate vicinity and within easy reach from Flushing include Flushing Meadows Corona Park, home to the Unisphere, the Queens Museum, and the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center (site of the US Open). Citi Field, home of the New York Mets baseball team, is also nearby. The surrounding environment on Linden Place itself would be typical of an urban setting, likely featuring a mix of commercial and residential buildings, and perhaps some light industrial presence, reflecting the dynamic and often densely populated nature of Flushing. While the motel itself may not be a "scenic spot" in the traditional sense of natural beauty, its location grants access to the "scenic" cultural and recreational landmarks of Flushing and Queens.
As a motel, the Flushing Motel primarily provides basic accommodation services. Standard offerings in motels typically include a private room with a bed, a private bathroom, and essential furnishings. Information from various sources generally indicates that motels of this type aim to provide a functional and no-frills stay. Common amenities often found in such establishments, though not explicitly detailed for Flushing Motel beyond customer reviews, might include free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, and potentially a television. The availability of phone numbers ((718) 539-1600 and +1 718-539-1600) suggests a point of contact for reservations and inquiries. However, based on the provided customer reviews, a detailed positive description of services or features is not readily available, as the feedback largely pertains to negative experiences. Therefore, an objective introduction must incorporate these critical customer perspectives when discussing service quality.
The provided customer reviews offer a stark and critical perspective on the Flushing Motel's features and the overall customer experience. These reviews highlight significant concerns that prospective guests should be aware of:
- Cleanliness and Hygiene: Multiple reviews express severe dissatisfaction regarding cleanliness. Comments like "Room was still dirty and Unhygienic" and "The rooms were nasty, full of dash" indicate a fundamental issue with the upkeep of the rooms. The repeated mention of a persistent "smell... like cigarettes smell" suggests inadequate cleaning and possibly a disregard for non-smoking policies or proper ventilation.
- Noise Levels: One customer reported "the hallway was too noisy all night" and being disturbed by "smoking NONE STOP all the time I've been there till 4 am," leading to inability to breathe or sleep. This points to significant issues with sound insulation and potentially a lack of enforcement of guest behavior policies.
- Customer Service and Pricing Transparency: A review describes a "horrible and agonizing experience" related to pricing discrepancies ("On the phone told me the charger was going to be 127$. As soon as I got there, I was charged 160$"). Furthermore, the response to complaints about smoke ("Oh, we going to charge you 7$ and there's no other person who's smoking") and the use of a language not understood by the guest in a confrontational manner ("the receptionist he started to speak in Bangladesh on front me on me") suggest highly unprofessional and unhelpful customer service. Terms like "scammers, liars, horrible behavior, and rude people" are used to describe staff interactions.
- Safety Concerns: The explicit statement "This place isn't safe for a solo woman" is a serious accusation that raises significant concerns regarding guest security and overall environment.
Collectively, these reviews suggest that the motel, despite its basic offerings, fails to meet fundamental expectations for cleanliness, comfort, safety, and professional customer service. The strong negative sentiment, including terms like "horrible," "agonizing," "nasty," "scary," and "BE AWARE," indicates a highly unsatisfactory guest experience.
Given the specific platform category of "Scenic Spot," it's important to consider how a lodging establishment like the Flushing Motel might be presented, while objectively incorporating the negative customer feedback. Typically, a "Scenic Spot" implies an attraction in itself or a gateway to attractions. For the Flushing Motel, its "scenic spot" aspect would primarily be its proximity and access to the cultural vibrancy and actual scenic spots of Flushing and broader Queens. However, any promotional information must be tempered by the severe issues raised in customer reviews.
Therefore, a truthful and objective promotion would need to be extremely cautious and perhaps focus solely on location, with a strong caveat about customer service and room conditions. Without positive information, any promotional message for this particular establishment would have to be highly generalized and might not even be feasible or responsible to create in a traditional sense. The emphasis would be on the potential to access local "scenic spots" from the location, rather than the motel itself being a pleasant part of the experience. Any direct promotional language would have to acknowledge the prevailing negative sentiment, or risk misleading prospective guests. As per the instructions, an objective introduction based on information available, including the provided reviews, must reflect the reality of the situation. Therefore, a promotional angle here would be severely constrained, focusing on the external environment rather than the internal experience of the motel.
In summary, the Flushing Motel's primary feature, in the context of a "Scenic Spot" platform, is its location within the culturally rich and well-connected neighborhood of Flushing. However, current customer experiences indicate significant challenges related to cleanliness, hygiene, noise, and customer service, which would heavily impact any guest's stay, regardless of the surrounding "scenic" opportunities. Potential visitors are strongly advised to consider these severe negative reviews when making their accommodation choices.

Flushing Motel Reviews
The most horrible and agonizing experience I had in all my life. This place isn't safe for a solo woman; On the phone told me the charger was going to be 127$. As soon as I got there, I was charged 160$. I had to exchange the room twice because, the next guess, he was smoking 🚭 NONE STOP all the time I've been there till 4 am. I could breathe, I couldn't sleep all night, and the hallway was too noisy all night. The rooms were nasty, full of dash and when I asked the receptionist if it was possible to exchange the room I couldn't breathe by inhaling the smoke, they said; Oh, we going to charge you 7$ and there's no other person who's smoking 🚬🚭, I had personally to spoke with the guests to see if he can stop smoking beside all this agonic situation the receptionist he started to speak in Bangladesh on front me on me to see if it was possible for me to get any other room . I speak 4 languages, and I knew that I had to address myself to them in English. They are expensive for not offering a minimum service, scammers, liars, horrible behavior, scary places for any woman, and rude people. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS PLACE!!!!!

Apr 05, 2025 · Steven Ramirez-CisnerosThis hotel is a fraud why I’m saying that because first of all, when I entered they tryna fraud me, they blocked my card when I attempted with Apple Pay. My card got blocked and the bank says to me it was suspected fraud. The reception is very bad they’re not communicative. They don’t know anything. They didn’t give me the receipt until I insisted the rooms were under average. And I didn’t know what to do bro. The pillow were stained. And I couldn’t get something to eat because of the blocking of the card. don’t ever stay at this hotel except it if it’s emergency or you wanted to be closer to airport. This hotel is a fraud is absolute chaos and by the way in the morning the door starts to make noises, waking you up
Sep 19, 2024 · Abdallahi ledourDO NOT STAY HERE!!! My bed sheets had holes and MULTIPLE STAINS on them, pillow cases discolored, towels were so old and overused that they were thin and hard, mirror was smudged as if it hadn’t been cleaned. I have stayed at literal hostels in group dorms all over the world and none were as bad as this motel room! In the morning someone was making these weird noises outside my door and I was quite scared. The only positive thing I can say is that the shower had hot water. Overall, this place is a total scam and if like me, you just need a place near JFK to stay (and this place isn’t even close by the way!), just stay at the TWA hotel at the airport. When you add up the cost of transport to this motel, in the end, TWA will be the same price and it’s not a dump.
Jun 07, 2024 · Olivia0 STARS DESERVED, NOT A 3 STAR MOTEL! I went around June or July of this summer 2023. Rude staff, dirty environment and price raised from $145 to $190 for bad service. Only care for your money that can be spent at another motel/hotel with better service and a better experience. Some air conditioners are broken and will not be as cold. Some rags will be black, hair might be left around and the shower water system might have rust on them or the shower curtains can be really dirty and brown/old looking. They will rush you to leave repeatedly even if you have time left. (Example: 10-15 minutes. Will call and even knock on the door). Overall DO NOT GO, BETTER LOCATIONS WITH BETTER SERVICES, ESPECIALLY FOR THE PRICE THAT THEY CHARGE.
