Hampton Inn & Suites Huntington Downtown Reviews
Lovely place, friendly conscientious staff. Clean, quiet, thoughtfully laid out, with beautiful common areas and a 24 hr hot drink and snack site. The showers are great, excellent water pressure and endless hot water❤️. The breakfast provided is AMAZING. (As soon as I saw the waffle iron, blackberries and pecans, I knew this was the place for me). Walking distance to the Paramount and the wonderful Italian restaurant ‘Joanina’. Definitely coming back. Wish I could just stay, like Eloise🤭
Apr 07, 2025 · Sheilaann WhelanOverall a good hotel with comfortable rooms and good setvice. However, there's a huge minus to this hotel, there's no parking included as advertised on their site. If you try to park anywhere near the hotel in the evening, there are no spots anywhere. Your only option will be their garage, for which they charge an extra fee on top of the already pricey rooms. They can at least include the parking for Hilton honor members!
Apr 27, 2025 · Denis DobrochasovStayed one night to see a show at the Paramount- literally only a 5 minute walk away with several decent restaurants on the way, easy walking access to so much more on main street. Enjoyed the history of the area: the hotel respectfully restored and modernized the old huntingtin town hall and is joined by several historical buildings and sites with some dating back to the 1600s! Our suite was clean and modern with a nice big bathroom, good outlet placement, and small food prep area. Free hot drinks and fruit in the lobby and a very lovely lounge were appreciated. $20 valet fee not bad but there's public parking right across the street. Breakfast buffet included with the booking was decent. Staff were polite and helpful. Would book there again no question. Great way to have the best hassle free time at a show- we saw the Dropkick Murphys!
Feb 27, 2025 · Cceruti DThis is a stunning property with a beautiful outside terrace and water feature and some interesting internal features. I'm surprised Hilton chose a minimum-service brand though - a bar and restaurant would make great use of some of the communal spaces. The room I was assigned was disappointing - it faced an internal corridor so offered very little natural light or privacy. However, I didn't raise this with staff and I'm sure they would've changed it if I'd asked. The room itself was spotlessly clean and spacious.Breakfast was good by Hampton standards and I was pleased fresh fruit was available.Staff were friendly and helpful.Hilton properties in the US seem to be on a relentless journey to reduce services and benefits for HH members - I'm Diamond and in Europe, regular Hilton check-out is 12pm with late check out until 2pm for Diamond members. Here, as in more and more US properties, check-out is 11am with late check out until 12pm for HH members. At some point Hilton needs to think about the meaning of loyalty from those of us who choose their properties first. Still 5 stars for this great stay as I know it's a brand-wide problem, not just this individual property.
Sep 27, 2024 · scottintheskyThe rooms were lovely and clean and the beds were so comfortable. The staff were SO accommodating too, and that was the best part. We had some verrrry noisy neighbors who were blasting music and watching a movie and talking very loud, and I called the front desk and the concierge was so willing to help - said she could either call their room or go request personally that they quiet down. When I asked if we could switch rooms to something quieter, she immediately said yes, and we instantly got a new room that was very quiet and got a great night's sleep! Thank you very much for the lovely stay!
