Aug 24, 2022 · Levani SNice spot with beautiful views and you can see freight trains pass through too. They have picnic tables and a portable toilet which makes it doable to spend a while there. My almost 3 year old loves playing here.
Oct 06, 2020 · Stephanie Ulrich (Todd)Nice little spot to enjoy nature, river, trains and natural beauty.
Oct 16, 2024 · Tracy WolfeMine Dock Park offers sweeping vistas of the Hudson Highlands inches from the river’s edge. Named after its 19th-century use as a loading dock for ore from inland iron mines.Great place to enjoy the vista, a picnic or launch a kayak.Scenic Hudson Mine Dock Park is owned by the Palisades Interstate Park Commission but managed by the Town of Highlands. Frankly the area needs better maintenance and physical improvements. The Picnic tables are great but hard to sit there under the hot sun. Need more shade trees or covers.
