The North Shore Waterfront Esplanade Park is strategically located on Staten Island's bustling North Shore, making it highly accessible for New Yorkers from all boroughs. You'll find this impressive waterfront expanse at Bank St, Staten Island, NY 10301, USA. This prime location places it within the St. George neighborhood, which is the gateway to Staten Island for many, thanks to the proximity of the Staten Island Ferry Terminal. For those traveling from Manhattan, Brooklyn, or even New Jersey, the free Staten Island Ferry offers a scenic and convenient ride directly to St. George, from where the Esplanade is just a short walk away. This makes it an ideal destination for a spontaneous day trip or a planned visit. Multiple MTA bus lines also serve the St. George area, providing excellent connectivity for Staten Island residents. Furthermore, the Staten Island Railway (SIR) has its terminal at St. George, offering direct access for those commuting from other parts of the island. The park's development is integral to the broader North Shore Action Plan, which aims to enhance connectivity and create a seamless public esplanade stretching for two miles. This ongoing development ensures that the Esplanade will become even more integrated into the urban fabric, making it a highly desirable and easy-to-reach destination for appreciating New York's iconic waterfront.

North Shore Waterfront Esplanade Park Reviews
Such a wonderful place to visit to get a nice view of the sunrise coming behind NYC. In this case the sun is actually rising to right of NYC from this location. Still it lights up the city very nicely. When I went it was low clouds covering the city and I was able to get some nice hazy photos of the glowing orange sky.
Aug 11, 2021 · ricky llapaWonderful development that could do more for the people in the area, better events, attract more attention to it, this place has many stores but I think they are not doing well because people shop online more and this area could be much more than this but nether the less it’s beautiful and the view is spectacular of the entire Manhattan!
Jun 21, 2022 · NataAlways go here on Sundays because of FREE parking at the ferry. Stores opened at 11am but some like Nike opens at noon. Its a hit & miss. If you want to waste time, walk around and enjoy the view- come on down. There were few sales at Old Navy & Nordstrom Rack, you just have to look. Food wise, not a lot of selection of food to grab. Inside the ferry terminal is pricey.
Oct 23, 2020 · dee geneI like how you can step off the Staten Island Ferry and immediately get access to this prime waterfront real estate. It has a laidback vibe and has great views of New York harbor. Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty are not as close so it’s best to bring binoculars or a camera that can zoom in distant objects with ease.
Mar 25, 2017 · G AquinoUse the ferry for free to Staten Island where you can find a newely opened mall consists of almost all famous department stores. Also, dont foget to have your meals there as they have priced reasonably.
