Pier 64 at Hudson River Park

163 12th Ave, New York, NY 10011, USA

4.0
Easily a favourite place of mine. Very tranquil, even with crowds of people strolling by or with tourists taking pictures. There's lots of space for all, plenty of seats. If only something could be done with the smoking policy of the park. It is even more splendid on a sunny day with the sunlight bouncing off the waters. I think the area benefitted greatly from the opening of Hudson Yards a few years ago. The area is now a lot more polished, secure and cleaner than before. Even a solo walk in the night during the winter season is not a problem in terms of safety. - Alex G
