Its lush lawns are perfect for relaxation, picnics, or simply lounging with a book, while the ample seating ensures there's always a spot to take a moment and admire the view. The area has also benefited significantly from surrounding urban development, contributing to a cleaner, more polished, and secure environment, making it a comfortable destination even for solo walks at night.
For New Yorkers seeking a peaceful retreat, a scenic backdrop for their daily strolls, or a perfect spot to witness the city's iconic sunsets, Pier 64 offers an ideal setting. Pier 64 is prominently situated at 163 12th Ave, New York, NY 10011, making it a key feature of the Chelsea section of Hudson River Park. Its location directly on the Hudson River waterfront provides exceptional access and stunning views, placing it in a highly desirable and easily reachable part of Manhattan.
The park's accessibility is a significant advantage for both New Yorkers and visitors. Numerous public transportation options serve the area. Several bus lines run along 12th Avenue and cross the nearby streets, offering convenient connections from various points in the city. Pier 64 at Hudson River Park Reviews
Easily a favourite place of mine. Very tranquil, even with crowds of people strolling by or with tourists taking pictures. There's lots of space for all, plenty of seats. If only something could be done with the smoking policy of the park. It is even more splendid on a sunny day with the sunlight bouncing off the waters. I think the area benefitted greatly from the opening of Hudson Yards a few years ago. The area is now a lot more polished, secure and cleaner than before. Even a solo walk in the night during the winter season is not a problem in terms of safety.

Oct 11, 2024 · Mike ZI'm surprised this doesn't have more reviews! It was one of my favorite spots. I was only in Manhattan 4 days, and I came here twice. It's lovely at sunset and really gave me my nature fix. The breeze felt great, the sun was nice, and it wasn't super crowded. Lots of people were jogging, and the whole vibe was just lovely and refreshing. A nice break from the bustle of the city.
