Vinmont Veteran Park Reviews
Vinmont Veterans Memorial Park Playground named in honor of those who served and fought in past wars, the park features three play areas with slides, a sand box, toddler swings, big kid swings, there's public bathrooms, a sprinkler for those hot summer days and the Sid Augarten baseball field named after the former president & commissioner of the North Riverdale Baseball League which continues to call the park it's home. Great park to bring young kids for a fun time! Bring the family today!
Nov 16, 2023 · Rick CossWe had a softball tournament at pier 40. The pier scenery is beautiful. The court where we had our game was clean. It wasn't too crowded as there were other games and people playing there. It was mostly closed off bc of covid and it was hard finding anything to eat close by. Other than that we won!
Jun 01, 2021 · Samah AbdulrubNice NYC park. Men's room a little shabby, but functional. Near housing for Russian consular employees and their families.
Mar 21, 2021 · Bill SchaumanPark isn't too big but definitely good to bring your kids to in a hot summer day. Park size is minimal but it has plenty of swings and a child friendly structure. It also features a little trail and tree life, which you can access through a small gate in the park. Again, it isn't a wide expanse of greenery but definitely provides some seclusion in comparison to the busy park outside.
May 24, 2022 · Ar RahmanGreat clean park, most families that bring their kids here are respectful of others and barely any missed behaved children. There are exceptions to every rule but for the most part is quiet and very family oriented. There is a water fountain that is turned on around Memorial day and closed around labor day. It's well kept and clean. You never see any crew around and any other times the bathrooms are closed.
