I stayed at the W this last week. The location is prime right in Times Square close to a bunch of places to eat a bunch of bars the theater where we saw our Broadway show was right around the corner. Easy access walking to a lot of different attractions easy to get a cab quick subway probably like a 15 minute walk to Central Park. The staff were very accommodating. This is not a five star hotel but it definitely had five star service room was clean and quite large for New York standards. The elevators were fast and they have a cute little bar in the lobby that has music and drinks. The restaurant Caminos downstairs has really good Mexican food and I’m from California and Hispanic so I thought it was going to be trash but it was great. Coming from someone who always stay in five star luxury hotels I was very pleased with my stay here so were my sisters. The service was great. One thing to keep in mind it’s right next to Times Square so it can be noisy at night at times because of the lively atmosphere

Stayed for our anniversary weekend which was also Memorial Day weekend. Nuck, the valet was great in addition to the front desk workers. Location is amazing, but room is comparable to a motel 6. We accepted the accessibility room after being told that the only difference is the hand rails in the bathroom. Once we saw the room, I immediately called to request a room change which they couldn’t accommodate… although we had just checked in. I asked if we could move the next day which was Sunday, never received a call or message stating it was ready, the AC in the room was not flowing properly at all. The shower pressure was very weak and overall, the room did not look as nice as the website’s pictures. Compared to other Marriott sites, this room felt small and cramped. Bathroom did not have any counter space. Just a very small area on the sink that can hold a toothbrush and toothpaste.

Husband & I did a 24hr staycation in the city. Location is great! We did overnight self park at their suggested spot with no issues. Valet is just double the price.I do like how the elevator to the lobby is separate from the elevators that goes from the lobby to the rooms. Staff are friendly. Living room bar is nice. Esthetically nice esp with those cozy nooks.King bed city view room - we weren’t given a high floor but the view wasn’t bad. Just wasn’t great. Did wish we got a higher floor. The carpets were outdated, certain decor was peeling, bathroom metal vanity was quite rusted so we didn’t use the towels that were touching that metal vanity, but other than that, it was fine. I have pretty bad allergies so I noticed all the piled dust on tv, lighting features, bed frame and that little bed ledge that’s long enough to place your luggage. It’s not terrible but cleaning was bare minimum in my opinion.Noise from 19th floor - not too terrible. It’s alright but it’s time sq. What do you expect. It’s not noisy to the point that you can’t sleep and I’m a light sleeper, however, I was out until 4am so I KO pretty hard once it was time to sleep for a few hrs. Housekeeping was VERY, VERY loud starting 9am. They basically were my alarm clock lolNearby - We didn’t eat at the either two restaurants below the hotel bc we went somewhere else. Blue fish seemed a bit busier than Dos Caminos but again, we didn’t eat there. There was a CVS not too far should you need stuff quickly.During checkout, my husband was handling it, which I should’ve double checked. But by the time we left, I saw we were charged a Gatorade, which we DID purchase, but also a Johnny Walker, which we DID NOT drink. We noticed there was only one Johnny Walker there but we assumed they were just out of one and forgot to restock. Don’t feel like driving back nor dealing with an issue over the phone for that charge. Just taking a loss for it, but next time, I will be taking a picture of the mini fridge, which I feel like I shouldn’t have to do, but just covering my grounds at least.Will I be staying here in the future? Possibly and only if I can get a higher floor. It’s more of a last minute fall back if anything.
