Betsy Head Park Reviews
I like this space. It is more for outdoor sporting activities rather than lounging. It is Summer time and it is active but not crowded. You can find groups of kids participating in their planned sport sponsored by the city, people walking and running around the track, some using the gym apparatus, others are taking in the views while sitting on one of the ample seating provided around the track. In the distance from where I sit, there is a group of mostly middle-aged to senior African-American women doing line dance to the tunes of the Electric slide and the like. The class is free and they are there most weekday mornings from 9 (I think). Right next to the field and track area is the Olympic sized pool. I have not tried it as yet, but seems like people are enjoying that space too... I mean it is a pool after all. Not too far away from here is a sizeable playground and skate park. What more can you ask for? Well... I am going to ask the price of the icy from the cart vendor because today is a hot Summer day.
Jul 26, 2023 · Kamella CarminoLove this park. I come here to workout occasionally. It has a massive track, soccer field, outdoor pool (open in the summer), handball, rockwall and basketball courts. There's a small area where you can do some calisthenics, lots of benches to sit at around the track as well as a few seating areas.
Jul 29, 2022 · Samar GabourelPretty new and nice Park. Very big and open space that is supposed to take a lot of people but unfortunately due to circumstances is almost completely empty. There were a couple kids playing basketball on the courts and kids in the skate park but other then that not much. Can definitely see there being a possiblity post covid how this park can be really useful and active within the community.
Jul 23, 2020 · I. Carl Jean-LouisGreat park, but bathroom was out of service…
May 24, 2025 · Nathanael TheodoreThe rest rooms are very clean and the staff is very nice from when you enter to when you are leaving. Changing rooms are nice and clean. The only issue is the bottom of the pool there is a lot of debris that needs to be cleaned I don't mind the leaves but rocks and pieces of the pool yeh I mind a lot someone can hurt themselves
