Coda Williamsburg Reviews
The room itself was very comfortable, featuring a spacious king-size bed and spotless housekeeping throughout our stay. We loved having complimentary coffee and tea available around the clock—it was a real perk. However, the breakfast offering was disappointing. Each morning there were only low-quality pastries (muffins and croissants), no hot items such as eggs, and no fresh fruit—and on one occasion breakfast wasn’t served at all. In our view, the “breakfast included” option isn’t worth the extra cost.On the plus side, you can leave your luggage at reception after check-out, which was really convenient. The gym is well kept and has all the basic equipment you need for a solid workout.
Apr 24, 2025 · Telmo RamosHard to believe the 4 star rating and price point. Entered the lobby, overwhelmed by the smell of some sort of air freshener/incense. Room is clean, but looks like an old dorm room. Furniture is sparse, chipped and worn. Walls are also dinged and chipped. With the bed being about a foot off the floor and only one small desk chair, no where for two people to sit in the room. Others mentioned pastries in the lobby for breakfast, not when we were here. There is coffee during the day in the lobby, but no coffee maker or mini refrigerator in the room. Housekeeping never got to our room, we did get fresh towels, but no cleaning. With the pool not yet open for the season and roof top bar closed, rooms should have been significantly discounted. Would not recommend or return.
May 11, 2025 · lori garonThe bed was very comfortable and the location is fantastic — a great neighborhood with lots to explore, and really close to the subway. Unfortunately, there were quite a few downsides. The breakfast was honestly a bit of a joke: not available on some days, and when it was, it consisted of just a few muffins, no fruit, no eggs, and no gluten-free options. The curtains didn’t block the light at all, the soundproofing was poor, and to top it off, the shower was broken during our stay. Loved the area, but the hotel needs serious improvements to match the price and vibe.
Apr 24, 2025 · Mariana AlmeidaBeautiful suite with views of the park across the street and the city beyond. Bed and linens were 5 star. Bath with soaking tub! Moreover, the staff was so friendly and knowledgeable of the surrounding area. Easy walking to so many great restaurants! Highly recommend.
May 01, 2025 · Renee RichI think this is my first time giving full stars, and it’s very subjective—unfortunately, I got very sick on my last day, so I spent the whole day in their amazing lounge downstairs. No one bothered me, and I was able to rest peacefully, for which I’m very thankful! Now for the objective part: they offer coffee, tea, and snacks/fruits 24/7, which was great. The staff were very helpful. The location is a short walk to the metro, making it easy to get around New York. Also, the restaurants and shops nearby were excellent. The hotel was always quiet, and the room itself was very comfortable and cleaned daily. We had a heating issue, but they resolved it immediately. Overall, it was an amazing stay.
