Courtyard New York Manhattan/Central Park Reviews
Fantastic location on Broadway! In our room, we had a great view. It was very pleasant that there was a coffee machine, and one could enjoy their coffee while looking at the Manhattan skyline. The room seemed somewhat worn, but otherwise it was completely fine. The only downside was that the air conditioning was a bit loud and disruptive at night. The staff was friendly, and the elevators were super fast. I would definitely choose this hotel again. Thank you for the lovely stay :)
Feb 08, 2025 · HebiHad a very nice stay here. Rooms are small but standard for NYC with enough room to not feel too closed in. Our room had a nice view from the 17th floor. We were close to the elevators but it didn’t really create too much noise, it was more the people waiting vs the elevators themselves. The location was amazing and why we selected this stay. It is ideal location close to Central Park, the theatre district and time square. We would definitely spend the night again. We booked via a 3rd party booking website so the not perfect room was a trade off for the great deal on the room. They also have construction going on at the moment so that is something to keep note of, it minimally effected us mostly being the one elevator bay to go up to the rooms.
Mar 09, 2025 · Zach FortierI would not stay here again. $400 per night and the room was extremely dated and needed repairs. Chipped paint all around, incongruent carpeting. When I walked into the room the bed was not made and toilet was leaking. Very slow elevators and the walk to breakfast was under construction. However, ideal location.
May 22, 2025 · McKenna GuertinSecond visit to NYC.Chose the Residence Inn based on previous amazing hospitality from Lani during December 2023.Room 4202 overlooks a construction site so there is a regular 8am wake up due to the drilling noise from Monday through to Friday. The team are generally amazing. Cyril looked after us on check-in. Regular service of the rooms, good breakfast and coffee options every morning. Awesome food at the Bistro. The only thing that was a a negative for me was the attitude of Elena at the front desk when I queried the option of any discounted room rate or goodwill for the inconvenience of the noise. I was accused of being the only person who has ever complained about noise at the Residence Inn and she refused to come up to the room to listen to the noise herself.Lani came to the rescue with an apology and some goodwill in the form of Bonvoy points for our next stay.Greatly appreciated however it may be worth letting guests staying in any room overlooking Broadway that the old Bad Boy Entertainment Recording Studios which has been demolished is not a great stay unless you’re needing an 8am wake up.
May 26, 2025 · Emile PerumalTerrible construction noise mars the experience at an otherwise decent hotel with a wonderful location. We visited from a different time zone, so we were asleep at 8–until the construction noise started. From both inside and outside. Grinding power tools inside that seemed to resonate through the building. We heard them over multiple floors from inside the elevator. It went on from 8am through the afternoon.Complaints resulted in apologies but staff offered no meaningful, practical accommodation. I generally like Marriott properties, including Courtyards. This experience feels like an outlier.
