Gillette Park Reviews
This place is a place out of my childhood. 50+ years ago I played at the Gillette house and attended Brownie meetings downstairs. Mrs. Derubies was the caretaker of the building, she lived in the upstairs apartment. I went to school with her children and was, I felt privileged to see and play with my friends in the upstairs apartment. It's a beautiful park and a beautiful place.for kids to play. I was back visiting NY and I always stop at Gillette park to see the property. I was there on a weekday this time so I was unable to enter the building. I still walked on the property and was engulfed in my memories. There is now an excellent "Free Little Library" just across the street. All in all a great experience.

Aug 08, 2023 · Dave MeyersGreat for all ages and perfect for families. We had fun all day
Aug 07, 2024 · Jeff BoeckelWell maintained. There's not really much here in the way of a "park" for kids, but the town has their ball fields here, and the play space is great for younger siblings to entertain themselves while older siblings play. There's also usually a snack shack open during game time. The park is frequently used for town events, including Summerfest.Having grown up across the street, it can be quite difficult to live so nearby. Traffic congestion, people blocking your driveway, etc.
Jul 17, 2018 · Vanessa BishopSummer fest is always a good time here. Also summer activities such as little concerts and bands playing is always nice. Only bad thing is the kids playset isnt that great for my young kids 2&3 years old...needs to be updated
