Park South Hotel - JDV by Hyatt Reviews
Really enjoyed our week stay at this hotel. Chuck the doorman was a highlight, he is super helpful and always on hand if you need anything. All of the front desk staff were really pleasant and accommodating. The room was really great, super spacious especially for New York! Can’t really fault the hotel at all, location is ideal if you don’t want to stay on Times Square as everything is walkable. Would definitely come back here!!
Apr 29, 2025 · Ellie GentryWe had such a great time here at PSH! Ernesto, the manager was very accommodating of us from the moment we arrived. We had great service by Mohamed and his other colleagues as we went about the hotel. Also, Francesca at the front desk and her colleague were also super sweet and even gave great local recommendations. We enjoyed our stay - clean comfy and stylish!
May 24, 2025 · Ariana WagnerKrystal was so wonderful at the front desk. She gave us vouchers to get complimentary wine or beer at the restaurant. Pedro is a very hospitable doorman. This hotel was so generous with giving us water and accommodating us. I’ve stayed here twice and enjoyed each stay! The king bed hotel room is a lot more spacious but I forgot to take photos of it. Would highly recommend staying here if you’re ever in town!
Feb 21, 2025 · Lavish LiciaLove this hotel! Classy decor, comfortable and clean, no carpet. The staff is ridiculously nice - they clearly like working there. Really perfect central location. You can keep your bags there to walk around even if you’ve checked out. They have a flat rate car service to airport. Truly a pleasant experience!
Feb 21, 2025 · H CA decidedly ok hotel. The location is pretty good. I don’t think anyone would say Kip’s Bay / Murray Hill is a must visit neighborhood in the city, but we liked it. Very easy access to the 6 train. A lot of Indian restaurants - the neighborhood is locally known as “Curry Hill” in good fun. Our room was very clean and pretty spacious for NYC. The building is not very tall - they have two elevators and we never had to wait for one. If you need to park a car, they will do that for you here which is why we ended up at this hotel. I will clear up any confusion - they charge $77 a day to park your car. The lot across the street is not affiliated with the hotel and looks to be ~$50/day based on their signage. The garage the hotel uses is on 33rd and it may take quite a while to get your car out. The staff is very nice. There are no amenities to speak of here. You will pay a $30/day destination fee and they provide a list of things you “get” for that fee and none of them are great. The neighborhood is fairly quiet at night, but our room was directly across from the elevator and that was quite loud at times. Overall I think this property is overpriced for what it is, but our stay was not unpleasant. Restaurant and bar was unavailable during our stay. City view attached.
