Residence Inn New York Manhattan/Times Square Reviews
Excellent service from Sergio at the front desk, he totally made us feel at home. He ensured that I got the taxi for work so that I got there on time. Really appreciative of the experience throughout the stay.Damian also provided us prompt service with the luggage and ensured we were put at ease in the lobby.Feedback to the property management : The elevators could be programmed better because between 7am to 10am it’s impossible to get onto an elevator and come down. It’s a potential hazard in case of an emergency. We couldn’t go down for breakfast through the entire 3 night stay.
Apr 19, 2025 · Madhumita BanerjeeI recently stayed at the Residence Inn New York Manhattan/Times Square and had a really good experience. The rooms were surprisingly spacious, especially for New York standards, and having a small kitchen area was definitely convenient for longer stays. The hotel's location was perfect—central enough for both business meetings and leisure activities, making it easy to get around Manhattan without hassle.Breakfast was included and generally good, but I found that if you head down late, it can get a bit chaotic and crowded. However, if you're up early, it's actually a very enjoyable experience, with plenty of fresh choices available. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout my stay. A special mention to Kevin on the front desk, who stood out as particularly welcoming and accommodating.Overall, it's a solid choice for either business or leisure, and I'd happily recommend staying here if you're visiting New York.
Mar 30, 2025 · D TailorI stayed in this hotel for extended stay of 2 months. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The sofas were recently changed in 2024. Generally well maintained. Location is brilliant, several subway lines are just outside of the building. Service desk staff is very very kind and attentive. The hotel itself is a bit worn out but still in very good operating condition. Elevators are noisy so if you are sensitive try to request a room which is not directly adjacent to the shafts. Gym is small but useful. Europeans may find it hard to adjust to the breakfast especially for longer stays.
May 02, 2025 · Peter AngovLocation, location, location: it can hardly be better. Attractions, subway, lots of restaurants and broadway theatres directly nearby.Regular studio: really small for more than 2 people. No space for more than 2 suitcases. No room in the closet due to safe deposit box, ironing board and extra cushions. Would not have known where to put the little table in the sitting area if we used the sofa bed. However, studio was nice and renovated.Bathroom small, but sufficient. It can take a while after complaining before shampoo, bath gel or toilet paper are refilled/restocked.Breakfast was well above average with warm dishes as well. Good selection.Personnel was friendly and helpful.Would definitely stay here again, but only as a couple.Try to be on a higher floor: elevators can be a nuisance, if you are on a lower floor (too far to walk, long wait for the elevator which is full already from the floors above). And try to be away from the elevators which are noisy.
Apr 17, 2025 · Rasp BerryI recently stayed at this hotel in Manhattan and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the location is fantastic, close to everything, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing, dining, and getting around the city. The reception staff were efficient, and check-in was quick and smooth. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, offering a good variety of options, and the dining area was spacious, which is a rarity in the city. However, there were some drawbacks. The cleanliness left much to be desired; the rooms didn’t feel well-maintained, and the cleaning staff didn’t do a thorough job. The elevator was always busy, which meant long waits, especially during peak hours, their move is also annoying in the room where you feel living in a train station. Overall, while the convenience and service were solid, the hotel could definitely improve its upkeep and cleanliness.
