Moxy NYC Times Square Reviews
Only 21/2 blocks from penn station and 3 blocks from herald square subway stop made it so easy to get everywhere. The rooftop bar is amazing. The coffee shop next door was a great way to start the morning. Rooms kinda small but the shower was fantastic. Would definitely stay there again
May 26, 2025 · Mariann RahmaniWe stayed at Moxy Times Square for 3 nights and 4 days, and overall had a great experience. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms are on the smaller side, but fine by New York standards. The location is excellent, just a 7-minute walk to Times Square and 5 minutes to the nearest subway station. The hotel has a nice bar and cozy lounge areas with couches and tables, perfect for relaxing after a day out. They also stored our luggage for us, which was really convenient. The only downside was the bathroom design; the semi-transparent glass door felt a bit awkward.
Apr 20, 2025 · Susana ArbelaezThe hotel staff are friendly and welcoming. The room itself was not our cup of tea. The double bed being crammed in on three sides. If I needed to get up I had to climb over my husband to go to the bathroom. Not much floor space after two suitcases were in the room. It is a room if all you really want to do is sleep after a long day site seeing. Bottles of water are provided but they make up for not having tea or coffee facilities in the room by giving you a $20 allowance each day to use in the cafe. If you want a bit of space we would say this is not the hotel for you.
May 25, 2025 · Kirsteen ByrneThis hotel is conveniently located right by MSG, Penn Station, and Times Square. Employees are very friendly and helpful. The rooms with twin beds are TINY. The bed is wall to wall, sink and bathroom are right next to the door with minimal space between that and the bed. Comfortable enough for one person and for a short stay. Did not have a desk and chair like I was expecting either. It was a little surprising compared to what I expected looking at the photos. Food from the bar was not bad and there's a pretty good food voucher included with the room rate. Would probably stay again for the convenience of location and the friendly staff. Now for my standard comments. Location is decently clean and well-kept. Walls and window sill could have been cleaner but not a big deal.
Mar 23, 2025 · Christine LI have been staying here for nearly 10 years, 2-3 times per year and it never disappoints! The location is perfect - a short walk from Penn Station(easy access to most local airports) and not numerous subway stations. The staff is polite and professional and the rooms, while small, are well laid out. Smaller than a traditional hotel room. the common area vibes are way better than most traditional hotels.
