Residence Inn Yonkers Westchester County Reviews
This place is not what it used to be. I’m not sure who’s managing it but it’s horrible. I will say upon check in the girl was friendly and pleasant. But after that it went down hill. The front desk people that where there did not have a proper clothing, it seem very rundown and a bit ghetto. Does not look like a professional place. There was dog crap all over the sidewalks, the breakfast was not edible the entire stay, so I will be getting my money back. I stayed here many times in the past and I will not be staying here again. Also as a gold member o would expect a better welcome gift. Who ever is running this place needs to put in more effort especially since we are paying a lot of money to stay here.
Jan 28, 2025 · Sade HamiltonOverall great hotel great rooms. What is a scam is they always charge an extra 50$ when checking in and say it would be returned to you within 24hrs. They never give you back the 50$. They pocket it as a business. Its been over a week and I never received my money back. This isn't my first time here and this isn't my first time losing out on my 50$.
Mar 07, 2025 · caine caldwellGood hotel, a short drive from NYC. Large studios with decent equipped kitchen. Would have given 5 stars but...1. Breakfast - ran out of items on occasion (even early in the morning) - one time was no oat milk or any other non-dairy option; another time the pancake machine wasn't working. The toaster needs replacing - it only toasts on one side resulting in this bizarre hard/soft toasted bread/bagels.2. Gym - a little small and limited equipment.
Dec 27, 2024 · A. V. ManiI stay here often and over the past few years the place has started to look worn. Every single square foot of carpet needs to be deep cleaned. AND they need to have some NO PETS rooms or perhaps a floor or two. I’ve had to switch rooms at least 3x because of pet odor. What gets them by is the service staff. In particular Joana, Jackie, and Naylenise. They are alway professional and cheerful and have always went above and beyond whenever I’ve had any issues. I have seen them be calm and polite and helpful to customers who were being extremely rude. They deserve commendation.
Jan 18, 2025 · Anthony JonesThis actually happened several years ago, but I realized tonight that the review, which I wrote at the time of the incident, had never been posted to Google Reviews. The behavior here was very arguably criminal. The security guard also has an energy that says he has been around. I stay at roughly 100 hotels a year. 1000 in the past ten. I am at the highest tier of rewards for Marriott. This hotel requested a $120 "incidentals" deposit, more than I ever have been asked for in 1000 stays. I balked. Ultimately, after bizarrely being called the "n word" and actually I am an "old white man," and my calling the police, the hotel cancelled my reservation and sent me off into the night, something they later denied even though it was easily verifiable. When I filed a complaint with multiple states Attorney Generals the hotel, through a real piece-of-work attorney out of Boston named Terence McCourt, denied everything and had the audacity to claim I had called hotel staff the "n word" and had spoken "inappropriately" to a youngish girl I was trying to help as she had been waiting patiently to get a room key activated while I went back and forth with the front desk over the deposit. I am not sure the hotel remembers the entire incident was captured on their own hotel video, video the police also have reviewed.
