The Roundtree Amagansett, a Small Luxury Hotel Reviews
We had such a lovely early Spring long weekend stay at The Roundtree. The location is ideal if you are exploring The Hamptons- it’s a quick drive to Southampton or Sag Harbor. I can only imagine how wonderful a stay during the summer would be- the grounds are gorgeous and our room was spacious and well laid out. I loved the special touch of snacks and beverage being always available. We had breakfast delivered to the room each morning and were pleased by the freshness and variety offered.Would happily stay again!
Apr 13, 2025 · Siobhan TwohigI recently proposed to my girlfriend at the LongHouse Reserve, and I honestly couldn’t have pulled it off without the help of The Roundtree. Even though I didn’t propose on their property, the staff went above and beyond to support the plan. From the beginning, they were incredibly helpful—offering suggestions for nearby proposal locations and connecting me with Jean, a fantastic photographer who captured the moment perfectly. They were thoughtful, responsive, and clearly experienced in helping guests plan special occasions. On the day of the proposal, they even helped me sneak some food into the back of my car (since my girlfriend thought we were going to brunch, and I knew we'd need something to eat after!). That small detail really showed how much they cared and how invested they were in making the day go smoothly. The hotel itself is beautiful, peaceful, and perfectly located. I’d absolutely recommend The Roundtree to anyone planning a special moment—or just looking for a great place to stay in the area.
Apr 11, 2025 · udom umohWe stayed at The Roundtree during the off-season, when the roses are resting and the crowds mercifully thinned. The garden is charming complete with a fire pit that encourages conversation and contemplation and the staff are warm and attentive without being cloying. In short, one feels pleasantly looked after. The rooms, at first glance, are a visual treat: tasteful finishes, handsome lighting, and the sort of curated minimalism that whispers “Hamptons” rather than shouts it. But alas, beneath the surface polish, the structure reveals its secrets. The walls and floors are, to put it kindly, more symbolic than structural. One hears every footfall, door click, and muffled midnight snack discussion from next door with alarming clarity. At times, it felt less like a hotel room and more like being cast in a radio play with the guests on either side. For the price point, one hopes for better soundproofing and sturdier bones beneath the pretty facade. A future renovation that invests less in sconces and more in silence would be most welcome.Still, a lovely setting and a fine stay just bring your own white noise machine and a sense of humor
Mar 23, 2025 · Henry MakansiThoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay! This hotel was thoughtful, paying attention to so many small details. We appreciated the recommendations for things to do. Riding bikes was fun! The restaurant next door was yummy. We loved the cookies and delicious breakfasts.
Mar 18, 2025 · Anna FosterWell recommended!. I've met the general manager. He is very accomodating, pleasant, impecable customer service. Even the interns are very attentive to what the clients need. The rooms are very comfortable. I am shookt that they provide SLIPPERS!! That's a plus because i've tried a lot of hotels in the city but they don't provide those things. Rooms are very clean. I like that they serve SARATOGA water which is very refreshing. I love the home made cookies. The breakfast i feel like I am in Bali, Indonesia which is very healthy and filling. And you can have as much pastry as you want. The location is exeptional. I like the smore night. The lady intern that assisted us was so nice to extend the smores night for us to experienced it. If I could give 100 stars i will. I really wanna gate keep this place but it will hurt the business so i am sharing it with you all. But DEFINITELY WILL COME BACK!.
