War Memorial Field Reviews
Its a great park and field to go. When there's not so much people smoking, drinking, and/or blasting music. They changed up the playground for ages 5-12. Could've made the rock climbing side a little playground for younger ages.
Feb 25, 2025 · aliensarerealo_oLove working out here and it’s been clean all this year . Love seeing the elderly people walking or jogging around the track in the morning . It’s very clean and unkept . Yonkers needs to make closer stores and do something with Getty’s square like add a Target or major store or even on Nepperhan Ave.
Nov 03, 2021 · Soyica GreavesOnly decent park in the area BUT i avoid it on very hot days due to the fact that there aren’t any sprinklers for children to cool off. There aren’t many parks with sprinklers in Yonkers….why?!
May 30, 2022 · Nicole GuerraI like it because it has the track to run, i dislike it because it is unsafe for kids or any ppl, there are alot of homeless, drogadicts, drunk people. Kids there are rude to other kids and that is unsafe for my kids, i wouldn't take my kids there to play, the play area is also unsafe, pieces of broken glass and the swings and the slide are old and in bad condition, city should do something about it.
Aug 23, 2018 · Gacha WolfVery funny Easter egg hunt by the city of Yonkers (5 stars) but there just isn't enough parking here and there's lots of dog poop on the field so only 2 stars for the field itself.
