As part of the globally recognized Wyndham family, Days Inn by Wyndham Brooklyn strives to deliver a consistent and reliable experience. While it may not boast luxurious frills, it focuses on the practical aspects that matter most to many travelers: a clean place to sleep, a hearty breakfast to start the day, and crucial accessibility to public transportation. Reviews often highlight its proximity to the subway, which is a major advantage for navigating the expansive New York metropolitan area. The inclusion of free parking, a rare commodity in NYC, is also a significant draw, especially for those traveling by car. For individuals or groups whose primary goal is to explore the city extensively and who need a functional, well-located base, Days Inn by Wyndham Brooklyn offers a pragmatic solution for experiencing all that New York has to offer without breaking the bank.
The Days Inn by Wyndham Brooklyn is strategically located at 437 39th St, Brooklyn, NY 11232, USA. This address places it in the vibrant borough of Brooklyn, specifically within or very close to the Sunset Park neighborhood. This area is known for its diverse community, industrial charm, and, most importantly for visitors, its excellent transportation links to both local Brooklyn attractions and Manhattan.
A key highlight of the hotel's location, consistently praised by guests, is its proximity to the subway. Being "close to the subway" is paramount in New York City, and this hotel delivers on that front. The D, N, and R subway lines are typically accessible within a short walk from 39th Street, providing direct and convenient routes to major Manhattan destinations like Times Square, Herald Square, and Downtown Manhattan, as well as various points across Brooklyn. This easy subway access makes it an ideal base for tourists and business travelers alike who plan to explore the city extensively.
Beyond the subway, the hotel's location in Brooklyn offers good accessibility for those traveling by car. Its inclusion of "free parking" is a significant advantage in New York City, where parking is often expensive and hard to find. While reviews note that parking is "on a first come basis," the availability of on-site parking at all is a major perk. For locals, this makes the hotel a feasible option for staycations or for hosting out-of-town family and friends who prefer driving. The area itself is generally navigable, with bus routes also serving the surrounding streets, providing additional layers of public transport connectivity. The neighborhood offers a glimpse into authentic Brooklyn life, with local eateries, shops, and cultural spots that are often more accessible and less crowded than prime Manhattan tourist zones.

Days Inn by Wyndham Brooklyn Reviews
Stayed 2 nights. It wasn’t bad place to stay. It was close to the subway which we really wanted. Breakfast/ free parking was included and that was much appreciated. The rooms are small but beds were clean. The bathroom tub color was yellow and I feel they should take care off that and the door was bit hard to push/close. Overall it was good, most of the day we were out and just needed a place to sleep.
Oct 02, 2022 · Mariya WastiOn my first night arrival, the room did not look as if it was cleaned. Had to ask for a cleaning staff to come and reclean the room before settling in. The room was very small to be a double room. The rest of my stay was okay. The breakfast was good, location okay, but the parking was on a first come bases, so we struggled to get packing space on the hotel premises.I feel for the money I paid. It was not worth it. Unfortunately, I won't be staying there again.
Mar 11, 2023 · Mel “Sabi girl” EmokpaeWe get to the hotel and it looks like drug addicts are hanging out in the front of the hotel. Then they couldn't find my reservation for almost 15mins. We finally get the key and the give us a smoking floor when I didn't request that. The moment the elevator door open the smell of smoke was insanely over powering. The room Door looked like someone tried to break into it barely locked right. The room was super small everything was outdated and the bath tub was dirty with hair in it. Ive stayed in pretty bad hotels in my day but this was worse for a 250 price tag. We refused to stay there and went to a hotel in time square that was ten times cleaner ans nicer for the same price. The guy was rude and refused to give us our money back. Never again!
Sep 24, 2019 · Irving MoralesShowed up and they didn’t have a room for us despite a reservation. Then they threw a random room number at us and when we went in to check it out it was disgusting, food trash all over, no flip of bedding and the bathroom was a mess. Theres also a terribly strong smell of cleaning chemicals everywhere. I don’t know how you could sleep with that smell. Gladly made the phone calls necessary to get our money back.
Aug 26, 2022 · Jack MorganAvoid this place if you can. My wife an I had to stay here on the 4th of July because the music outside our house was unbearable since the Dominicans moved in. This place is normally $150 per night but they charged us $253. The halls smell of tobacco smoke and the elevators of weed. The couple at the reception desk had thick accents and we could barely make out what they were saying but were somewhat decent. The AC was stuck on 83 degrees and wouldn’t go lower and actually kept shutting off. The room was sweltering. My guess is to keep you from using electricity. We were told we booked a queen sized bed but when we got to the room, it was the smallest queen we’d ever seen though decently comfortable. The tub looked like it had never gotten a decent scrub ever. And to top it all off, after being told that check out was 11am, we get a knock on the door from house keeping at 8:45am yelling, “check out!”. We were desperate for sleep and I suppose that’s the only situation in which you should book a stay here.
