Phoenix Hotel Brooklyn Sunset Park Reviews
The worst hotel I have never been. Obviously the cleanliness is in option over there. The sheets were dirty, the floor was dirty, the bathroom was dirty, even the walls... come on. I was not expecting the moon for this price but even the minimum wasn’t there. Make an effort please. At least the wifi was good and the receptionists were polite and helpful
Apr 30, 2025 · Loick AkakpoI paid for a Queen suite and when I arrived for check in they only had a Full suite available. They have housekeeping but you can’t tell ; the bathroom , towels , bed sheets , even the curtains were filthy. No delivery allowed past lobby and I did not like that the Microwave is in the lobby- no microwaves in rooms. The only thing I could say I enjoyed ; was the View from the room it was so beautiful… everything else Just terrible
Apr 13, 2025 · Ma’yi MelenaMe and my friend stayed here for her birthday and checked in around 5:00pm. We changed and then went out to the city and did not return to the room until 6:00am the next morning. I called the front desk to explain that the bed sheets were dirty and the front desk associate went out to tell me how I was rude for requesting clean sheets and stated that “I don’t have to make up a story” just to state what I wanted. No story was made up, the sheets were simply filthy. I am always extremely kind to staff all the time and always very pleasant, I don’t appreciate being told I was rude for requesting a simple request to change dirty sheets. The towels and washcloths were filthy too, literally had to use my hand to wash. And to top it off housekeeping said she could only give out “one towel” for some odd reason. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. We were mislead by booking.com stating that it was a 7.8 , sadly we failed to read the Google reviews seeing it was a 2 star hotel. In all honesty it should really be a 1 star. You all really need to go back to business studies and learn the basics of customer service. This is ridiculous. If I could rate this hotel 0 stars I definitely would. And don’t you worry I will definitely be reporting this business to higher authorities. Good day.
Dec 30, 2024 · Kaitlin GrayThe hotel wasn’t as dirty as the other reviews make it seem. I’m not sure if they have updated this place or not. But definitely just fine for something in BK. The service was horrible. The front desk attendee woke me up around 6 am, to move my car to the street because “other people are coming.” (Nobody was there yet, other people’s check in doesn’t start until 3, we weren’t supposed to check out until 11. MIND YOU it’s free parking on the hotels behalf). I’m truly dissatisfied, I’ve never had any other hotel do this to me.
May 19, 2025 · Kaelyn RichmondIf I can give a negative star I would but I can’t. Booked the Phoenix Hotel in Sunset Park Brooklyn for 3 nights with my children. Please don’t waste your money for a hotel which is not well maintained. I changed my reservation to 1 night couldn’t even stay for my 3 nights reservation. Place is unsafe and unsanitary for my family. I changed the rooms from 206, 204, 202, to 205 to try to find a decent room to stay in with my kids. Unbelievable horrible situation I was put in with my kids. By far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Hopefully I get my refund back like the Booking.com said within 7-10 days.
