Made Hotel Reviews
I heavily relied on reviews to choose a hotel in NY so I thought it was only fair to write a review myself. After heavily debating where to stay we decided on Made Hotel and am happy to say, my husband and I really enjoyed our stay! We stayed in the creative suite for just a touch more room for our 3 night stay and it was well worth it. (It helped we got it for a discounted price because we booked so close to the time of our trip.)The perks of the hotel like free coffee and tea was really nice especially because it was a bit cold and rainy while we were there. We also got two tokens to use for drinks. The hotel itself was relatively quiet and from the 17th floor the noise outside wasn’t too loud. The location was great with a lot of food options nearby, easy access to the train station, and when we wanted to go uptown there were bus stops close by (which I feel was cleaner and easier to get on than subway). If they had a bigger sink, more space to hang clothes, and a gym, it would make it even more amazing. But for us, this hotel definitely fit the bill. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting New York City!
Apr 14, 2025 · Erica YiThis is the place to stay in NYC. From the moment we arrived we were warmly welcomed in the beautifully appointed lobby that also has a coffee shop and a bar. Our bags were whisked away to our room while we relaxed. The rooms are luxurious and comfortable, the elevators are fast and in great shape, the location is perfect to walk to lots of nearby restaurants and sights. I can’t say enough. Look at the pictures of the rooms and that’s what you get. You will be glad you stayed here!!
Mar 09, 2025 · Sandy MyersA huge thank you to the Made Hotel Staff for making our stay so special! Their beautiful cafe in the lobby was one of the reasons we chose this hotel. It has great coffee and an ambiance that’s so cozy and relaxing. Their rooms were gorgeous and the bed was very comfortable! The outdoor balcony was so comfy to relax and enjoy a sip of coffee while admiring great views of midtown Manhattan. The location was also perfect. Just around the corner you can find the R line. It is also right across from a mini golf place that we lived and enjoyed! Also a lot of places to eat around that area and many cool bars! Thank you again for our wonderful stay! Thank you for making my husband’s birthday memorable!
Apr 04, 2025 · Kesly UrrutiaThe service is FANTASTIC.Rooms are clean but there was a window into the bathroom that looked directly at the toilet. We stuffed a towel in it.The bed is comfortable but pushed up against the windows. The only way out for the person on that side is over the end waking the other person sharing the bed. There was no chair for working from the desk.
May 26, 2025 · Aaron FrankI stayed at the Made Hotel for 6 nights with my 14 year old daughter. The coffee shop didn't really work for us, it's more of a nook than a coffee shop and also open to the public so overrun every time we went in. The free coffee is black filter coffee only, anything else (cappuccino etc) is charged for. Also didn't like the food in the Debajo restaurant to be honest which was a shame because the atmosphere was really nice ( wasn't authentic Spanish, just fried food basically, couldn't eat the calamari as too salty and dry). Didn't understand why adults get a free glass of wine at the bar but nothing for children, that was odd (my daughter didn't like the sickly hot chocolate in the coffee shop). No minors allowed in the rooftop bar, so that was off limits for us. So for us the "perks" of the hotel didn't work at all, if I had known this I would have booked something else. We struggled with space to put our stuff in the room as there is hardly any storage space. Very noisy clanking of lift day & night as well. It was ok but had expected it to be a bit better to be honest from the rave reviews.Location is great, reception staff were helpful, coffee shop and bar staff not so much. Not a resounding recommendation from me I'm afraid.
